Does anyone remember this old school rock song called "Rumble" by Link Wray? Jimmy Page really liked that song.

I've seen clips of it and MUST find the full video.

Jimmy Page and Jack White in the same room is enough awesomeness to make a star go super-nova if you could put speakers close enough to it.

I don't listen to rock music the majority of it is demonically influenced. I personally perfer R&B music.

Yeah, I am sure that R&B is straight from heaven....
Didnt say all of it was but at lease it has love songs & songs that soothe your soul. In comparison to rock music where even some the musicians admit to allowing spirts influence their music.

Do you like 1970s-90s rock? OR do you not agree with it? Share your thoughts!
I dont quite know what is meant by ''Old School'' is it something you listened to when you were at your Old school? Is there new school rock? Suppose you were Home taught or at University?. My interest in Rock music waned from the Mid seventies onwards so I am a little behind the times.

old school
noun

  • used, usually approvingly, to refer to someone or something that is old-fashioned or traditional.

  • "amenities that my parents, being of the old school, still take for granted"

Thanks for that but I knew what meant in the context you are using. It is the context being used for rock music that has me stumped. You sometimes see CD's Titled Old School something or other. I would be interested to know where it starts or ends. Would songs released from last year be considered old school for example?

When I think of old school rock, I think of classic rock. I don't think of CD'S as old school, but there are CD'S with old school songs recorded on them. I think of albums and 8 - tracks as old school.
