On Global Warming

Many people are not aware that with global warming comes colder winters, shorter, but colder.

Do no say the term today is climate change because the seas are getting warmer and the poles are melting.

To say there is no global warming due to the cold winters simply shows a lack of education on the subject.

To insist it not be called warming but change instead smells of cover-up.

So any time anyone who is uninformed says there is no global warming because the winters are so cold, you may either isnform the person if he will hear or smile and know.

Could you cite a source for that information?

If they had photography before the industrial revolution, the same pic could have been taken.

This is one of those issues that really gets my blood "warming"!

There are a number of questions that most don't even bother to ask.

1. Is there warming at all? Yes there is still debate about that, especially given the level of data manipulation and falsehoods put forth by various warming proponents. Things like, yes, this year the polar ice caps have been lower, but a just a couple of yrs ago Antarctica had it's highest ever recorded amount of sea ice.

Or that monitoring Global thermometers were placed in obviously absurd locations like next to building HVAC units. Not to mention the almost complete lack of accountability for those who pushed hard cataclysmic prophecies , a scant decade or so ago,that by THIS YEAR NYC and much of Florida would be underwater. We just had several very damaging Hurricanes this year, but almost non-existent was the reporting that the U.S.A. went it's longest EVER stretch without a category 3 or higher Hurricane making landfall. How many who believe the warming alarmists knew that?

In fact, since scientists can't really explain the "pause" in warming over the past 20 yrs, they are adjusting not only their ridiculous estimates, but coming up with even more ridiculous claims about how colder winters justify that there IS global warming. I could go on, but you get the idea. the Science IS NOT SETTLED on whether there is ANY significant warming at all. You may even hear some talking about an approaching ice age, like they did in the 70s and early 80s.......

2. If there IS warming, is it caused significantly by humans?

The jury is waaaay out on this.

First, you have to accept the notion that carbon dioxide will DEFINITELY cause warming. That Oceans, and plant life, which thrives on carbon dioxide, AND EMITS OXYGEN, won't be a huge factor in regulating the balance.

Then you have to believe that emissions from humans vastly exceeds natural processes that increase CO2. Things like Volcanoes, decaying Canadian, Russian, and other Arctic, and non Arctic forests, Oceans, and even the dirt, are natural sources of CO2, not to mention of course, it's what WE exhale!

My only comment is ???????????

Yes the Sun will cause the end time increase in temperatures.... Not Carbon...

3. If there IS warming, would that necessarily be a bad thing?

The Earth goes through natural cycles and rhythms of cooling and warming. The planet at large, and humans specifically, have historically thrived better during warmer cycles.

Longer growing seasons is just one of a number of benefits to a warmer clime. Less energy is used to cool than to heat.
At least in the developed world fewer deaths are attributed to warmer periods. And this would be the case worldwide if not for the fact that most of the undeveloped world doesn't live in a temperate, seasonal region. And why do you think such areas have, and have had, such huge population explosions? BECAUSE THEY LIVE IN A WARMER CLIME.

Hello. I am sorry I was not explicit. I posted the quote from Revelation simply as an ensample not for a moment believing this is happening right now.

What is happening right now is the reaction to the actio (s) of mankind. Everyone who reads knows this to be a fact. Not to worry though, for most facts of this age will burn in the fire to come.....oops more fire.

There is plenty of attainable fact for any who knows how to read to understand that the screening of the atmosphere, the holes in the ozone layer, the shrinking of the poles with the disappearance of age old glaciaers, the shifting of the habitats of the biosphere and so much more demonstrate man's contribution to the nature our Father has given us to live in in cooperation is going to pot.

There are bound to be people or whatever coming here to say there is no proof when the evidence is everywhere. I pity them.

The truth is, the seas and oceans are warming while the polar caps are disappearing. The temperatures are rising, there are droughts in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania.

This will not satisfy those who think their own politics is right even when wrong, so those of you who are of this ilk should not even bother to make these groundless remarks........
