yes.

it is tree. as long as you don't worship the tree and give glory to the tree, than having on is fine...
Just don't kneel down to put the presents under the tree or you will forever be under its power.
Well crud.
There go my plans for next Saturday night.

I haven't purchased my required 50 pounds of candy for fattening kids up for the potion pot yet. Since I enjoyed collecting lots of sweet loot when I was a child dressed as a bum (every year) I now enjoy handing sweets out to today's youth. I'm not a fan of the holiday, just a fan of distributing the sweets. I don't go to Halloween parties or costume myself. I just sit on the porch with my jacket on and wait for the kids to come by. Some houses in my neighborhood get around 500 kids. Due to a non-optimal location for loot gathering I get maybe a couple hundred. Interestingly, I almost never see any of these kids playing outside during the day... life sure is different now than when I was a kid.
I was reading the other day that a lot of kids might be disappointed this year because the best-selling Halloween candy have been things like gummies, Smarties, Dum Dums, etc. -- because, of course, they're cheaper.

Sounds like maybe you might want to have a special bowl of the "really good stuff" (coveted chocolate varieties) reserved for the "good" kids in the neighborhood.

Careful, Cameron. You know what THIS means.

I might have to find... *gasp* -- A DATE -- instead. (And for all the people who will make the very "dated" "I have plenty of dates" joke with pictures of the fruit, nope, that ain't gonna cut it.)

I'm talking an actual date with a GUY and IN PERSON. (shriek!)

My goodness.

Exactly which level of evil is Cameron trying to push me into here?!

I was simply keeping you from tree worship. Anything beyond that is an overactive imagination. But I do think you should go on a date and have a nice time. Who knows? The next CC get-together may be a wedding.
Hope this doesn't get twisted into another evil plot.

seoulsearch,

the israel nut cake is called Halva it kinda taste like this
I know all about halva.
But I’m more of a baklava or tiramisu kinda guy. :D
I don’t have a sweet tooth anyway , I’m more into salts like sunflower seeds or anything salted but when I go have a dessert it’s one of those two usually.
