You never met my mom then, as she had lost 90% of her hair by age 35.
Most women wear wigs, as hair loss on woman is less accepted.

God bless:)

My hair is long and I couldn't imagine cutting it! Get it layered and the color you want and it looks beautiful. :)

Good morning. I love that Bugs Bunny cartoon on the Barber of Seville.

I thought this thread would be about 1 Corinthians 11. The Nazirite vow is also pertinent, but not impertinent.

I am surprised that the poll doesn't distinguish men from women; that is,
favor long hair on women vs long hair on men.

Thanks. I guess both men and women can answer the poll... :)

(In Numbers 6, with the Nazarite vow, which you mention, women as well as men shaved their heads...)

Men should look like men and women should look like women.

The Bible doesn't "define" how "short" is short, or how "long" is long. I don't think your pastor is going to go around the congregation with a ruler measuring your hair.

I voted "medium"....not really long, but not really short either. This is my own personal opinion...no "butch" styles for women or long ponytails for men.

MsLinda70: thanks for you comments!

I'm sure few preachers will go round with a ruler... :)

My wife did The Chop years ago, anyway.

A lot of more mature women choose a business-like cut, which radiates a business-like confidence, something like this:

(Maybe trimmed round the sides and back, but a bit tufty at the front.)

Whatever...

Blessings.

Here's my personal opinion again....the haircut displayed in that picture looks more like a man's haircut than a woman's hairstyle. I consider that to be almost like a "butch". At first glance, I thought that was a photo of a man...until I saw the string of pearls!

MsLinda70: I guess this photo shows a cut that would be a bit too short for you, then. This is not my wife in the photo, but my wife is a lawyer, and, for women in business, having it in a manageable cut is an issue sometimes. In the case of the person depicted the pearl necklace and the pearl earrings also and even the rouged cheeks would suggest femininity to most people, anyway, I would guess.

Thanks again. Blessings.
