Is it wrong to wish that God would end my life? I'm in torment now and don't want it to continue. I have prayed for deliverance in any form.
Yes, it is wrong. God gave you life, and you want to take it away? Did you even read my OP, or did you just make a random post? If you want some inspiration to live, read some of the testimonies in the Testimonies forum. Especially those by Blain and TemporaryCircumstances. :) Read my OP here, and read my other testimonies in my signature. And check out my faith book.

We are not promised an easy life, but we ARE promised that it will be worth it in the end. You gotta just hang on and persevere through..

I've lost my job and I can't provide for them anymore. If I can't take care of them and myself it seems like the honorable thing.

Thank you, I read your first post. The longest one. I've been praying all the time. If you have the time I would appreciate if you could pray for me. That God would provide a job for me so I can provide for my family.

Can you imagine the pain that was going through Jesus's mother's heart as she watched the brutality her oldest son went through and then being murdered on the cross, knowing she would never see him on this earth again? Her heart was tormented by His death. But she still carried on and we bow you can as well.

Just to add... When my son was 8 wks his father killed himself.. It affected everything in my life and still does.
It's completely selfish..

We would rather have a man who couldn't provide then one we never get to see.. Life matters

Suicide is never honorable. It is the ultimate insult to your creator. It's also the ultimate betrayal to your family. This situation you're in right now, are TEMPORARY circumstances. But suicide is PERMANENT. Take it from someone who first tried suicide at age 12, and many times since then.. You WILL find another job. God will see to it. :)

I'm sorry your husband died. I know it's selfish. I know my son needs me to care for him which is why I haven't acted.

I really wish there was a way to rush God. That's probably blasphemy. I've been working since age 15 and it feels wrong to be home all the time.

I know how it is to want it all to end.
I do. I've tried a couple times and thought about it for months on end.

But, look,
When you die, no matter what way it is in, it does impact people.

Think of your son.
Now, imagine him jumping out of a window and ending his life, you tried to get to him but couldn't.
How does that make you feel?

Or imagine coming into his room to see a rope hanging from the celeing and him attached to it...hanging... you tried to save him but you couldn't.

Now, sorry to have to go there but that's how it is in reality.
How did you feel thinking about those things? Do you really want to make others feel like that?

Well, there must be a reason why God wants you at home for right now. Unfortunately we don't always get to understand His reasoning behind his decisions.

Good!! And don't.. watching a child cry themself to sleep bc he has to watch children enjoy their father.. no fun..
That's just part of it.. Every simple thing is magnified when you're faced with reality that "never will he" is real..

I may not have responded to every one that took the time to respond to me but I want to thank you all. It's good to talk with Christians and have a fellowship of sorts.
