A child has now got hold of a gun and shot their teacher. What kind of a place is America?

Why don't you say "what kind of place is Virginia" ?

Or go the other way.... "what kind of place has this world become" ?

What would America be like if guns were banned? First of all it would institute a violation of states rights, because I don’t think that the state of Alabama voluntarily would ban guns. Secondly, it would violate the idea of which upon America is founded on, freedom of suppression and a somewhat healthy relationship between the authorities and the people. America should never be a totalitarian regime.

Boy who murdered teacher in classroom says he also wanted to stab her pregnant colleague
this headline from the UK in 2017.... in a country that has 1/5 the population that the US has.
happens all the time in India and Africa.... turns out you DON'T have to have a gun to kill people. Who knew?

Well, I never😁!

Ain’t seen you in a month of Sundays.❤️

How’s it going with you and your family?

I’m not so much on lately, been struggling with some health issues.

I’m mainly posting in the Banned Game thread, but sometimes a southern heart gets annoyed with all the people thinking that putting a ban on things will make everything good.

Why are Democrats so anti-gun
And yet at the same time so very quick to give Ukraine Abrahms tanks, patriot missiles, and all kinds of munitions....far beyond any handgun.

It was the 2nd Amendment that allowed the Labor Movement to succeed and protect families .(y):)

Maybe in Canada....but not in America.

The 2nd Ammendment came out in the form of the "Bill of Rights" with the first Ten Ammendments on the heels of the Constitution that had been agreed to by the 13 states. All of these Ammendments were all about limiting the power of the Government.

At the time the "Labor Movement" AKA Unions as Organized Labor came about there also was a huge organized crime wave in this country. Lots of people were getting shot and killed on a regular basis with fully automatic weapons.

To claim that Labor Unions succeeded solely because of firepower is not exactly true. Thugs used guns. Not Labor organizers. Hoover's "G-Men" were just getting started good. The FBI wasn't even named the FBI yet.

This isn't shooting sports related- it is three cases where servicemen "rode down" the tail section of the bomber they were in. Thought you might find it interesting.
