Does anyone know the physics behind the hammer and ignition? I was just thinking, constitutional law is one thing, but Jefferson was nothing if not a natural law expert. Get yourself a forge and the right tools, you can just build one. No FFL, no point-of-sale ID check, no hassle, no problem.

Not sure of your question, the hammer strikes the firing pin which strikes the primer of the cartridge producing a spark which ignites the propellant.
One of the protections of the 2nd amendment is that a person can produce their own weapon for their own use.
The commie dems and anti Christ globalists hate the 2nd amendment as they need a populace of unarmed sheeple for them to be in power.

Or you could just buy black powder firearms.... no license needed. You can buy them through the mail.

I have a niece named Flannery.... after Flannery O'Conner....

Are they not all black powder based in terms of ignition? I've met gun qualified people before, even seen cartridge cases built from primer, powder, a shot and a brass casing. What it is, it's the mechanical applied physics to cause the falling hammer to ignite the primer, and the mechanism for causing rapid fire from a larger chamber holding more bullets. I actually own the milling tool, the drills. A forge is outside of my property ownership status, but I'm also aware that individual parts can be purchased.

Proper Demonstration of How a Good Sheriff Handles Press
"The exchange came Friday as Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods took questions from the press regarding the recent shooting deaths of three teenagers.
“Sheriff, you mentioned the gun. Do we know how the suspect got a hold of the weapon?” a reporter asked.
Car burglaries,” Sheriff Woods responded, adding, “All the gun laws we have in place didn’t prevent it. Neither will any new ones.”
“Because here’s the fact,” he continued. “The bad guy is going to get the gun no matter what laws you have in place.”
“There are individuals out there viewing… who want to blame the one thing that has no ability or the capacity to commit the crime itself, and that’s the gun,” the sheriff said. “These individuals committed the crime.”
The epic shut down of firearm demonization efforts came as the sheriff’s office announced the arrest of two black male suspects ages 12 and 17."

"'The bad guy is going to get the gun no matter what laws you have in place,' Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods told reporters.'All the gun laws we have in place didn’t prevent it. Neither will any new ones,' sheriff added.

Billy Woods is my kind of guy!! What a dandy he is!!! Guns do not kill on their own, someone must control that weapon! It is not the laws which should change but rather the people who must start paying the price for killing people!!! And parents as well!!! a 12-year-old child murders???? What in the hell are the parents doing?? The media did not like hearing the truth from Sheriff Woods, but he spoke the real truth about guns!!
