My concealed carry journey.


First 2 years of concealed carry: Okay, I need a small gun and a tuckable, IWB holster with no chance of printing.

2 1/2 years in: This is too easy! I can carry more gun. But I need a better holster so I don't print...

3 years in: Nobody will notice if I just throw a shirt over my bigger gun in an OWB holster. Right?

In my experience, it is only the people who do guns and are ok with them that notice printing (provided it isn't SUPER obvious), and girls notice it more than guys do. Or maybe my brothers/guy friends just aren't the type to notice. Around where I live, it isn't the end of the world if you print a little bit when you bend over. That being said, it is still depressing how small of a gun a 5'2" woman such as myself has to wear to avoid printing. I am seriously annoyed with the clothing makers right now. Ok. complaints over. Carry on with the thread ;).

I have heard "printing" is a big deal in some states, Texas is what I heard, never heard it mentioned here.

All you need to do is grow a belly like this guy and you can conceal a 44 magnum under there and no one will notice! :rolleyes:



I can probably conceal a full-sized 1911 under mine.. :p

Have u seen the bra holsters that clip on the bra called Flashbang? They conceal really well....

My biggest problem with the Flashbang is the direction it is pointing. Supposedly, not a problem since the trigger guard is covered and the slide can't move back. Still...I don't much like it. I would feel like I would have to tell anyone sitting on my left to kindly move :p. It also doesn't work for me if I want to conceal a gun with a longer barrel or one that is not as slim.

She's still pointing it at herself when she draws and re-holsters, though. Right?

I mean there is always a bit of that, but it usually doesn't involve multiple vital organs :p

Have you investigated Thunderwear? It might work for you.... I don't know what all they sell, though.

There are literally dozens (if not hundreds) of alternatives for persons with a smaller frame that want to carry a large frame.

Check out GunGodddess.com, they've got a decent selection of purses/handbags designed for concealed carry

Not a great question, though it does reveal much.
Why would anyone think normal participation in a hobby or sport would be unusual?
That must stem from your being a subject and not a citizen, I have asked if you have a hobby, you, as of yet have not answered.
Have you a hobby? If so , why do you like it so much? Not that it matters as we who are free citizens don't question why anyone else participates in a hobby, were you a free citizen you would see how unusual your question is.

Not when you draw. Re-holstering is a problem, and the designer recommended holstering off-person. Which makes things difficult. Like, I'm really supposed to take the holster off, holster the firearm, and put the holster back on each time I draw it? What if I'm just practicing drawing again and again? It sounds like a bit of a pain. But maybe the best option; I'm still looking around for something better.
