I've got an older Mossberg pump that has the 20" barrel with full length mag tube. Came with a pistol grip as an attachment, but I've never had it on it IIRC. No choke, holds about a half a box of shells in it... well, actually, only about 8.... or 6, I think, if using 3" thumpers.
It's been dead reliable, with minimal maintenance. I clean it when I get bored with everything else... not a great policy, but I'm lazy.
Worked pretty well when pheasant hunting in Iowa about 16 or 17 years ago. I did get a few "raised eyebrows" when I brought it out of the case. "you gonna use a
riot gun for pheasant?" It was the only shotgun I had at the time. The other guys were carrying Browning over/unders, and Winchester 21's.... I suppose I looked a little bit red-neck...
