There's some swamp land for sale in Arizona, Egypt.
Saying people are wrong is par for the course. Calling people liars... is something entirely different.

Are you sure you don't want to try Bible Discussion Forum? There are a lot of people there who are just like you. You'll feel right at home there.

I've never played this video game nor heard of it (or soulweaver) already existing until it was brought up to me because of my nickname... people are really paranoid
===============================================
"Most witches focus on their connection with the earth, exploring intuition, divination, traditional uses for herbs and may even connect with pagan deities. However, with so many variations of witchcraft, there really isn’t a set definition for it and honestly that’s kind of awesome. Each witch is free to dance to the beat of their own drum on their own winding path.

In many cases, spellwork itself also takes time and dedication. Just as you may need to put out more than one job application before you find that better paying job – you’ll probably need to cast your spell more than once. Over time your hard work and magick will then weave together to help you get where you want to be.

Witches & weaving are real NOT just a video game that you say you never played or heard of, and of course the noun "Soul Weaver" meaning a specific type of witch is much older than video games, and it indeed is a Satanic name. But nonetheless, here's a bit more information on the subject:

https://sarahfawnempey.com/does-witchcraft-really-work-exist
===============================================
The Apprentice Witch’ is a wonderful, enchanting debut from James Nicol about a young witch called Arianwyn who will weave her magical powers over you and capture your heart.

https://bookloverjo.wordpress.com/2016/07/05/the-apprentice-witch-james-nicol/
===============================================
Article on Witch Weaving:

WARP & WEFT: WHAT ARE YOU WEAVING, WITCH?

https://badwitch.es/warp-weft-weaving-witch/

"Even the word “religion” derives from the root “ligare” ~ (to bind.) It speaks of restriction, which, according to Aleister Crowley, is the only real sin. I happen to agree with the Thelemic master on this one."
===============================================
P.S. Video Games, along with other games such as Dungeons & Dragons are based on real witchcraft, and that is why multiple search results yeild the name "Soul Weaver" with its meaning. The only other thing to do would be to post quotations from actual books on Witchcraft, and I'm not about to that in a Christian Forum. Discerning Christians can pray about these issues, and do their own extended research if they deem it necessary.

J-T I gotta say it's suspicious that you know so much about the topic...

It reminds me of a guy who ran up to a friend of mine with a book and said, "Hey you gotta read this book! It's about the devil's alphabet." My friend replied, "I don't need to read that book. I don't intend to speak his language. When I talk to the devil all I need to know is, in the name of Jesus. He can translate that any way he wants."

Missionaries to Africa don't have to study voodoo to defend against it. All they need to know is God, and God takes care of defense - witch doctors start knocking on the missionary's door, begging him to pray for them, because the witch doctors' own curses came back on themselves.

J-T you have filled multiple pages with what you know about witchcraft. Why does a Christian need to know so much about it?

Take a look at all of the accusations made against me, including your own. People line up to laugh, mock, and make a joke out of the reality of deception, whilst working to deceive others, while painting me out to be a divisive liar, and I don't find it to be funny at all. There are false teachers among Christians, even in this Forum, and that is reality. Can you distinuish the true from the false? Will you go back to the three part recap that I had posted and respond to each one for the sake of having a Christian discussion involving the Bible? If you honestly go through those passages of scripture, you would learn what the LORD has to say about witchcraft, and as you grow and learn in Biblical knowledge, you will also learn how witchcraft is used to deceive the entire world, and how the false teachers use various forms of divination, from lying to wresting the scriptures as they masquerade as Christians. Typically, they are Freemasons, and sad to say, though it is very true, Churches are filled with them.

Generate a refutation for every wild accusation you throw out? Sounds like way too much work for way too little profit - you'll ignore the refutations you can't counter, and generate more wild accusations, then demand I refute THOSE too. No thank you.

You're a bit confused. YOU are the one who accused somebody of lying. Indirectly of course, so in a pinch you can try to claim you meant something else.

Railing accusations are the Bible Discussion Forum stock-in-trade. Are you SURE you wouldn't be happier there? I think you would.

Are you confused? I am not looking to fight with you. In fact, I believe that if you check anywhere in the CC Forum, you will discover that at no time have I spoken anything against you. Not one time. So I was not out of place per my remarks in my last reply to you. Did you go back to look at the three part recap posts that I had put together? You will find that I cited sources that backed up my statements, among other things. Would you like to meet me half way to engage a discussion of those posts, as well as the posted passages of scripture?

You did not cite one single thing tying SoulWeaver to a video game you hated. Yes there is a character class called Soul Weavers in that game. No you have not given anything as proof that SoulWeaver played that game.

The most you could do is call her a liar when she said she didn't even know about the video game until you brought it up.

You lumped me in with all the other people who disagree with you, and cast yourself as the poor pitiful outcast that everybody is picking on. What do you MEAN at no time have you spoken anything against me? You just did a few minutes ago.

And all this was because you wanted to strain a point and link mysticism to martial arts so you could claim martial arts was evil, and people disagreed with you. You're really straining out gnats here.

Are you really, really, REALLY sure you don't want to give Bible Discussion Forum a try? I swear you would love it there.

The truth is that you lumped yourself with your own posts that you made against me. As far as the subject of "Soul Weaver" is concerned, you posted yourself that there are 5 Pages, perhaps 6 by now, with posts that I have made pertaining to the subject. You are more than welcome to review each one if you like, and once you do, you will discover that I cited several search results, and even included a link to the search results where you or others could simply click it to explore other websites, to get the as much information as you want. And, if you actually read the posts, including one of the most recent on the issue, you wouls also discover that the name "Soul Weaver" is not new and certainly not specific to the video games, as it is also used in much older games such as Dungeons and Dragons; All of which are based off of the Occult and is about witchcraft, not to mention the latest citations of which you had previously responded to.

I offer you an opportunity to engage discussion of the three recap posts that I had made. By doing so, we can go into an indepth discussion of the cited information with discussion of the passages of scripture, and we can do so in a friendly and kind manner, that is if you have a love for truth and are willing to participate.

I see that you have brought up the Bible Discussion Forums for a third or fourth time, and you and I both know that your intent is mockery and not edification, but I forgive you. I have seen what goes on in those Forums, and have a keen understanding of the dynamics. As I mentioned before, there are a large number of false teachers involved in this Forum, just as they are involved in every other Forum and Group across the Internet. They are divisive, and sow division and discord as they contend against Christians. I really have no issue going there to assist other born again Christians, but for right now, that is not my focus. I will give you a heads up that among the false teachers that you will find in this Forum, you will find those of the Seventh Day Adventist Cult, One Pentecostal, Roman Catholic, and other cults, not excluding the Freemason Witches that also masqerade themselves as being Christians. Why not meet me half way and discuss the aforementioned posts in a kind and friendly manner? It's your choice.

Words are funny things. "Yuri" is a man's name in Japan. It is also a name for a category of media featuring lesbians. That does not mean uncle Yuri is transvestite, transexual or homosexual, and he would whack you with his cane if you suggested it.

If my nick was "Pinto" it could be a horse or a car... or a bowl of beans. One burns gas, one causes gas and one is sometimes gassy, but aside from that they have nothing in common.

SoulWeaver thought that would be a nice nick, kind of like HeartMender or something. If she had chosen PeaceMaker, would you accuse her of murdering people with a revolver? She explained why she chose that nick, but you called her a liar. Has she cast any spells on you?

You pulled up reams and reams of information on a video game and an ancient occult practice, but you have not yet proven they have anything to do with the member of this forum with that nick.

I see that you have brought up the Bible Discussion Forums for a third or fourth time, and you and I both know that your intent is mockery and not edification, but I forgive you. I have seen what goes on in those Forums, and have a keen understanding of the dynamics.
Yes you seem to have a VERY keen understanding of the dynamics in the BDF, because THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE DOING HERE! That's why I keep suggesting you relocate to there. Your manner is so much like theirs, I really think you would be more at home there.

What's the matter? Were you not brutal enough to hang in there at the BDF? Did you come here instead because you thought the nice people here would be easier to push around?

We're not. Either play nice or beat it.

In the meantime J-T could we have our Martial Arts thread back? I think you've hijacked it long enough with your Inquisition-style persecution. I didn't even get a chance to go into the different forms of Silat.

I have only "spoken" with you a few times on this thread, even after your unprovoked insulting posts against me, as I had never attacked you. In the meantime, I have offered an invitation to have a kind and friendly discussion with you of the facts contained in the three part recaps posts that I had made. If you were kind, and had a love for truth, you would have accepted the offer, and could have learned a great deal more about the issue of "Soul Weaver", along with other things, but you have decided not to accept my offer and now demand that I leave you and your friends' thread? Really, is this your thread? What is the topic of the OP, and how was the author of the OP treated on this thread? Can you find any single post where the author of this thread was mocked and/or ridiculed in any way? This is no more "your thread", than it is your friends' thread. I excercised my right to provide information, and had even provided cited information to refute martial arts, and so forth, though not completely all. It's not difficult to find the facts, but it's just that people don't want to know the truth, and that is why so many of you have opted not to discuss the facts, and I suspect that if any of you did, you would all have to admit that you are wrong, and so you will not do that. That's sad and really too bad.

I have always loved Martial Arts and even went to China to study and learn Kung Fu. However I sometimes feel that Christians are not happy to learn this. What are your thoughts on this?
Why would it be against Christianity?

So as long as you don't speak against the one who started the thread, you feel free to slander and revile anybody else?

And you STILL have not proven SoulWeaver is a witch, or took the name from witchcraft. When she explained her nick, you called her a liar.

Do you have an Uncle Yuri? Try telling him he's a she and lesbian. See how that goes. :p (Wait, did you even read that part of my post about how words can mean different things?)

@SarahUmbreon, would you or @GaryA have any advise for the individuals that have hi-jacked this thread, like a pack of wolves, for the purpose of defending the Occult practices of Martial Arts, as well as one that teaches that Occult books "point to Jesus"? Do you suppose that advise could be given for them to provide proof of their claims, and/or at least make an effort to provide cited sources that they believe would refute or debunk any of my posts? Or is your teleporter malfunctioning from beaming in and out every day even though to claim to have left this thread days ago?

Are you "Soul Weaver's" attorney or are you here for a discussion? Can you prove that "Soul Weaver" is not a Witch, and that the name has never been used for a Witch, and/or that the name "Soul Weaver" has ever been used for anything other than a Witch to mean anything else, other than a single person's claim that it came from the Bible, of which it did not? Can you provided synonyms or antonyms to prove any other definition for "Soul Weaver"? Clue: "Soul Weaver" is only used to describe a Witch, including a specific type of Witch, and nothing else. Do you seek only to accuse me of being a railing slanderer, or are you willing to learn the truth?

The burden of proof is on you to prove that she is, because you are the one who brought the accusation. Nobody has to disprove anything. You haven't even proved it yet. All you have done is ramble about the many facts you have googled up about soul weavers.
