I didn't have much in the fridge (and the fruit was unripe) when my best friend came over for many hours to talk life and faith and watch a biblical creation/evolution DVD. So we ate peanuts, potato chips and dark chocolate, and drank lots of water. As you do.

Sure thing! :)

Pancakes:
Beat together 1 egg, 1C Milk, 2T melted real Butter
Mix in (with hand mixer) 1C Flour, 1T Sugar, 1t Baking Soda, 1t Baking Powder, 1/2t Salt
Pour about 1/4c of batter onto a hot skillet (over med low heat). Wait till the batter has several bubbles formed then flip it for about a minute. Then it's done. If the pancake is too brown, turn the heat down.

Syrup:
Boil 2C sugar & 1C of water over med heat. Pour in 1t Maple Extract (or more to your liking)
Poor a little over your pancakes

...and Voila! You're done! :D
I like to serve the syrup hot over the pancakes. Makes it really good! :D

I actually hate anything whole wheat....and so, I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do to make it taste a tad better. Decided to do this bad boy and it was absolutely delicious. Grilled some chicken, sautéed some baby spinach, grabbed a few tomatoes...and voila.
