The comments aren't directed towards me per say but someone who might express their feelings about something that some Christians frown upon. I am not exactly a liberal person but I don't fit into the mold of what a lot of people think a Christian should be or how they should feel about things.

In younger years the way religion was taught (in religious education) don't question anything. I mean as far as what you were taught . I don't do well with that. I got in trouble in Catholic religious education and when I went to this Baptist church with my Mom.

I try to reach out to those who have been rejected by the Christian community because I was there. In the Catholic religion I was made to feel like a girl who had no clue, I didn't have a clue actually. In the Baptist church I was made to feel like a whore who wasn't worthy of God because I did question thing's and probably because the Pastors Son liked me and I wasn't the glowing angelic piece of perfection they wanted for their son.

I just read read something on here the other day that made my stomach turn. This person doesn't fit the cookie cutter mold most people think should exist to know God and I was afraid to publicly reach out to that person and I'm ashamed of that.
If we were more open to asking questions and answering questions from non-Christians and young Christians etc. the Church would be a much healthier place and more people would be running the race. Asking questions is a necessary part of walking with God or even just learning to seek Him.

It would be much better for all.

Don't ever let anyone stop you from being yourself and reaching out to others, those people are on their own journey and you mustn't allow yourself to be held back by them. Let Jesus be your guiding light! Listen to His voice only and keep doing God's will!

I will fit in wherever God wants me to be. But after the holiday binge eating, I'm not sure if I will still fit in my pants.

Just as no two people are alike, no two snowflakes are alike.... God created us all and He has a purpose for each one of us to fill and we each can reach people that someone else can't.... and like snowflakes that are beautiful each one of us is beautiful in God's eye.

The sad thing is that not all humans serve the purpose that God created us for and each of us learn at a different rate and as Christians we are on different rungs of the ladder and we don't always show our beauty to one another.

But because we were created different from each other we fit in the place and purpose God has for each one of us and only we can fill the space God created for us. Which is exciting in a way that each one of us is so special in God's heart that He created a space only we can fill and fit in... We all fit in God's heart easily. I'm also sure we break His heart when we walk away and choose not to fit in the space He has made for us.

I don't know where I fit in the Christian community. I'm not going to get into what I feel about certain hot topics but I know it's a lot different than a lot of other Christians. I don't like reading , you're not a real Christian, said to anyone. It's really rude.

I have a relationship with God and I know he knows what's in my heart. I like and enjoy many people on CC heat I'm not sure what to make of some comments I read.
many times in my life i have felt like you do, and i am a minister of the gospel, I have been rejected , but some have received me with love, let us not feel apart from other Christians, God loves you so much he gave his son on the cross that you could be saved and born into the family of God, your special in the the lord , Never let Satan make you feel out of place, we must deal with our human emotions, our feeling and emotions are not always right .we must be lead by the holy spirit that is in our hearts, our thoughts and ways are not like the lords , his ways are higher than our ways,

I do not think that we have to fit in anywhere. Jesus walked to the beat of a different drum, we are to be like Him. He was not part of any organization, He did not have a board of directors, sometimes His followers were very few in number. He was not understood by the masses, He was not loved or even liked by all, but by some, they would give their lives for Him, He was never married, never had children in the natural sense, He was loved by His family, but their role in His life was greatly diminished after His conception. He pretty much walked alone, except for the most important force of all time, that of His heavenly father, who was with him continually. Maybe our lives mirror his more than we realize?

I don't fit in... I used to, but not anymore.

We aren't called to fit in. We are called to follow Jesus and glorify Him.

For me, it used to sting and cause me anguish. But not fitting in with the world is a good thing. Easy to say, hard to live it.

As far as fitting in with Christians, some are blessed with family and friends who are believers. Those of us who aren't can try to find fellowship. What I found is that the times where I felt super alone and isolated are the times where I got crazy close to Him.

Being pushed way farther than I thought I could handle was the place where I could run into His arms, while humans turned the other way. Keep walking your path... Even if there aren't any humans walking beside you!

Thank you Laura Charlotte ~~ Straight from the heart!!!

The meaning behind your message reminds me of a part of the Queen's 2016 address:

"It was the humblest of beginnings, His parents did not think they were important, Jesus Christ lived obscurely for most of his life and never travelled far. He was maligned and rejected by many, though He had done no wrong. Yet billions of people now follow His teaching and find in Him the guiding light for their lives."

Great message Silver, I'm sure it will resonate with many.

Jesus fit in perfectly to His Father's purpose. We feel we don't fit in and often get hurt if we wander away from where we are supposed to be, doing God's purpose.

David was supposed be leading his people in wars. But he stayed, slacked in his kingdom when temptation got him and he sinned against God.

Bad news. Someone found identical snowflakes about a decade ago.

("What do you do for a living?" "I look for identical snowflakes." Who picks that job and who pays for it? lol)
