"Basically what kind of diet, or specific menu or recipes do you recommend..."
This person said it may be better if I post in general rather then PM back so others could benefit.
The person has had a some various pain and sleep issues.
Let me start with some of the sleep basics, which I have mentioned in other threads here.
If anyone is wagging up groggy or feeling depleted, then that means they did not get enough sleep and/or the quality of sleep, the REM sleep, was poor.
Sleep is lie a natural dialysis. Ideally your supposed to wake up feeling energized and alert. Everyone should ideally be getting to bed no later then 10:00/10:30, maybe even as early as between 9 and 10.
Ideally I would recommend eating no later then 6pm. That means you took your last bite at 6pm. We need at least 2 and a half to 3 hours of time between our last bite of food and falling asleep.
Epigenetics has now proven beyond a shadow of a doubt what very Christian should already know; that our though patterns and the way we view ourselves and the world and our level or forgiveness and focus on Jesus effect our spirituality and our genes. There is no two ways about it. If your constantly stressed or worried or hurried, even before you adjust your diet, which can be a major factor, you need to adjust your prayer life and relationship with Jesus.
Keep the room as dark as possible. Stay off your computer at least a hour to a hour and half before bed time. Use blue light blocking glasses when on your computer and preferably even after the sun goes down if yo are using led lights or even incandescent bulbs that are not clear, i.e., do not use bulbs that have a frosting over them.
Try to use your bed for nothing but sleeping, Well maybe one other thing too. This will get your mind into the set that the bed is for sleeping. When I place myself on this bed, it is for the express purpose of sleep.
The body has a very precise internal clock which jives to circadian rhythms. Mess with it, and your compromising your immune system and your health.
I recently helped a friend of mine in NYC with her breast cancer. She changed her diet around, did other things I suggested, was all in. A very motivated and intelligent lady, has 2 PHD's. She did not do the chemo, thank God. She did have the tumor cut out though, which is usually a good idea, if possible. She recently received a clean bill of health. The tests showed she is clean.
The problem is she does not get enough sleep, eats late at night. I am very concerned it is going to reoccur. I sent her some Miror EPF and proteolytic enzymes. Hopefully that will protect her well enough. I suggested she get a series of closed system colonics and do hyperbaric and/or Ozone therapy and infra red sauna therapy along with the essential oils. I hope she does it. Because the way she runs herself down increases her chances of it coming back.
Most people need from 7 to 8 and a half hours sleep. Studies have tried to pinpoint it. I think it is 7.42 hours of sleep. That is not a hard and fast number though.
Studies have shown that sleeping between the hours of 10pm and 2am is almost essential, as the body does its most crucial and critical repair work during those hours.
If you have consistently worked at night for more then a decade or so, you've already got and will have some serious health issues down the road. Sleeping the same hours during the day doesn't cut it. The results are not close to being the same, Remember what I said earlier about circadian rhythms.
If you are not consistently sleeping in the manner I described, your going to have a compromised immune function. You can not avoid it. We have to get our sleep, and properly, the way God designed.
We Christians should all know, there is not getting around Gods laws and design for us. It just leads to disaster when we go the opposite way.
Sin equals spiritual death, not abiding to Gods natural laws results in physical death. I am not suggesting we are going to live forever if we live the erfect" lifestyle.
That cat is out of the bag, Once we were thrown out of the garden we were doomed to die. Furthermore, the flood was a cataclysmic event that change our environment forever in ways that further shortened our life spans.
Couple that with the ever continuing degradation of our DNA and genes and the bombardment we have subjected the environment, our real home the planet, to and we are sentenced to short life spans.
The good news is that with a close relationship with God, which to me is the most important element in the equation of long life, and a God sanctioned diet, and by obeying God;s other natural laws, we can live a life full of physical quiality and longevity.
I am not out of bounds that saying with all the new info and holistic products and modalities, attaining 120 to even 140, 150 years in good health is not a unreasonable unreachable goal anymore. Science supports this.
I am not implying it is easy, nor that I am going to live that long. I will be happy to make 85, 90. Just that it in solid theory it is an age that is reached.
More important to me then longevity is quality of life. What good is living to a hundred if the last 20 years your in a wheelchair on 20 different meds, can't breath right, in pain, can't walk more then 10 steps without losing your breath, etc.?
I will post the diet portion of how to live a healthy and productive life and other important life style habits later on.
