I agree with you that anxiety is just a feeling. It is a feeling that can hit you hard, but you can beat it. I have heard resisting the anxious feeling by trying to make it go away often does not help. The advice I have hear about it was to go with the flow , to let it come and let it go. Seems more of a neutral peaceful stance in my opinion rather than fighting the feelings away.

It is good you are turning the feeling of anxiety to God. I have often felt a sense of peace during prayer times.
How did I not mention that?? Prayer is the BEST antidote for anxiety! It sure is!

Beating the anxiety - I don't know - but through prayer and sincere effort on my part to not be anxious, I just try to outlast it - I know sooner or later it's going to go away!

Ashwaganda herb may help, But we MUST give Him first place, if and when I become anxious, when I realize He is always with me and guiding me, no matter what happens there are no accidents, if I have what some may call "troubles", He knew it that event would take place from the beginning of creation, and He can and will use it to put me in a place to witness and share His truth.

I have suffered from anxiety as well. It's not easy at all. When I get anxiety I listen to youtube videos about God. This somehow relaxes me. I keep listening till my anxiety seizes. Prayer helps too or going to church to pray helps a lot. It will bring you a sense of peace for sure. You have to question where the anxiety comes from. For me the anxiety comes from not being able to control or know about the future. I feel like there will be a negative thing happening in the future with no resolve. This triggers my anxiety. But we have to learn to live in the present. We don't know what will happen in the future.

Does this help? He knows the end from the beginning, nothing gives Him anxiety, He knew at the creation ALL we would go through and experience.

I battle many anxious thoughts by saying scripture and talking to the Lord about my cares, which is what the Word tells us to do because we are in a spiritual battle; in Ephesians 6 it says we quench the fiery darts of the wicked one by holding up the shield of faith... so we keep trusting Him with EVERYTHING.

In 2 Corinthians it tells us to...
“Take every thought to make it obedient to Christ”

Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you.

My times are in His hands.

You are worth more than many sparrows.

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee because he trusts in Thee.”

For we know that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purposes. Amen.

Do not be anxious about anything, but through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God, and the peace of God will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

HalleluYah, thank you Lord, you are greater than all. Amen.

Hi Wade! What I came up with is that any kind of doubt in ones own mind is based upon something Jesus never ever wanted his people to have!! FEAR!!!( 2 Tim 1:7-11!!) In the mindset many have, when you do not have much anxitity you looking for it to come upon you. Yikes!!! That was my problem at the start!

In reality I was using faith in the wrong way!! Because when I was looking for it I got it! Boo! SO!!! I had to change my mindset. You know when it is coming, you gut becomes very uneasy, and you know at that point you are ready to get what you have feared. Here is what helped me. 1. When that thought comes, and it may come at the start a lot as it did me,I got my Bible out and started reading who I really am in Christ Jesus!( Rom 12:1-2)

I started making my mind think only of Jesus peace, both inside of me,and outside of me!( Phil 4:7-9!!!) verse 8!!! Now like everything else it does take practice, but stay strong!! The temptation of of going back is there a lot at the start, but if you stay in the word and even out loud confess his word in your life, you will find that temptation will vanish away!!

Took me about a month. Remember your will means a lot!!! If a person really wants to do something, they will!! So you have to have this!! That was my mindset!! I was worn out from fear and doubt, but no longer!! I am free!!! And God sure does not love me more then anyone else!! But you really have to desire it, to get it!! The first week was hell, but as I stayed in his Word and thanksgiving, Jesus set me free!!( Being in God's will is a great comfort!!!( 1 Thess 5:18-23) Take comfort over despair!! Blessing!!

I am looking for someone to talk to about anxiety.I feel like nobody knows exactly what people with anxiety go through on a daily basis. It’s been 9 years, I’m ready to move on from this , but something is holding me back. I keep all my feeling bundled up inside because I feel nobody will understand. Anyone who would like to talk about this through e-mail or text and form a relationship to try and help one another, let me know. If not, I ask you say a prayer for me, and everyone who suffers from this horrible mental illness.

God bless !
Wade, it isn't true that no one can understand your anxiety or you. Those are lies you have picked up along the way through life.

Msg me via email here and we can talk more. Anxiety is BONDAGE that Jesus wants to free us as Believers from! Letz talk!

I wouldnt wish panic attacks on anybody. anxiety/depression panic attacks is the worst. as a psychiatrist once put it, you dont think your going to die, you know your going to die and its going to be soon.

as a guy, one of the best things is to lift weights. walking 2 hours a week also helps. ive found vitamin d3 helps me. ginger root also.

another big thing is praying every day. in prayer, a weight is lifted from our minds as we cast our cares on Him for he cares for us.

one last thing and maybe the most helpful is to find something you have fun doing. bird watching, ride a bike, raise chickens, plant a tree, play a videogame. when we have fun it allows your mind to release that bad thought and say, hey its going to be ok .

Letting the indwelling Christ out has been the source of my healing for all things, when I accept and walk out His plan for me knowing He has promised to go before me, I am no longer my own.
Have a dear friend who shared an incident of illness at a Holy Spirit conference, when in the meetings and Holy Spirit was present there were no symptoms, outside the meetings there were symptoms.

Hey — I haven’t been on here in awhile. I need a place to talk about my life without talking to my family.

A little over a year ago, my father passed away. I moved back in with my mother. She needs 2 new knees and requires a lot of assistance throughout her daily life.

She’s depressed. And won’t go on a diet (procrastinate) and the doctors won’t do the surgery until she loses weight.

I work full time and have an extremely Grimm outlook on life. I believe we are all slaves. I believe that Satan is the ruler of earth (as stated in John 12, 1john 5:9 etc).

I hate the world. I want no part of it. I don’t want to exist. I want to burn my social security card, have my own country, with my own constitution. I completely hate my job, I am overwhelmed.

I have a very difficult time finding joy in life. Life is nothing but work. Slavery. Taxes. Etc.

can anybody help or relate? I understand “renew your mind” but I truly, honestly, am not able to figure out how. I spend hours at night literally crying for God to take me home.

Oh, man. I'm sorry Brother. Something will work out. It always does. You really need a third party to deal with your mom's medical stuff. I've tried to help mine with some medical stuff going on and even though I know things and have told her things that will help a lot, to her I'm just her kid that doesn't know nothing.

I would also talk to a psychologist. Even great kings of the bible had their councelors to help them. Even the president has a room full of advisors.

One thing that always helps me when I feel overwhelmed is to just go the library. It's just a change of pace. Joining a gym will help even more. It gives you another place to call home.

Hello Timothy, it is so lovely to see you again, though I am sorry to hear you are feeling so
overwhelmed with life's demands and responsibilities that you wish to no longer be here.

Looking after your mom does sound stressful, especially since she
refuses to co-operate in the advancement of her own health care.

Did you take those computer courses you had mentioned previously?
I am sorry to hear also that you hate your new job. Ouch.

I don't know what to say beyond telling you that all things work for the good.
I know you know that, and repeating it seems so empty when you hunger for more.
I will pray that your burdens are eased and that your joy increases.

Magenta it’s so good to hear from you — you don’t know how much that means to me. Unfortunately though, I just don’t want to pursue anything. I’ve probably had 15 jobs in my 16 years of work and every one of them ends the same. There is no dream job. The dream is to get out. Sorry, I know it’s very pessimistic but it’s the truth
I catch myself venting about this stuff to my mother and it makes her very sad.
I don’t mean to be too rude or anything. But it’s true. I didn’t ask to be here. I don’t want to be here. In fact, humans that have kids in todays world - I frown upon them. I think it’s selfish to pro-create and create little slaves for Uncle Sam.

How do you know the children want to exist? Why did god put me here if all I want is out. I am not having an “incredible born again experience”. In fact, it’s much the opposite. Since I’ve become saved, life has become difficult. I now see human trafficking, I see corrupt politicians who tell you they care about you so they can get a vote. I see the Devil’s work everywhere. And it makes me overwhelmingly depressed. It makes me feel like I was born into a prison called earth.

Again, I am so sorry for the pessimism. I am just communicating how I feel and my perception.

Find you something fun to do. I've been shooting a pellet gun here lately. I don't know why but I'm having a lot of fun with it. I had a pschologist tell me that for a guy the two best ways for your mind to release some of that bad stuff is to work/excersize or do something that you really enjoy.

I can remember a few years ago, 2017, my anxiety/depression was really bad then and I had a buddy told me, just lay in the floor surrounded by a bunch of puppies.

I never forgot that, lol. I never tried it, but at least he was trying to help.

I’ve probably had 15 jobs in my 16 years of work and every one of them ends the same. There is no dream job.
I can relate to that, I worked until I was 73, and had around 40 jobs. I have had loads of warning letter, and was sacked from one job after confronting the directors. Totally agree with you that we are wage slaves to the rich, and that will never change. I have never found a dream job.

Having said all that, I still feel positive and optimistic. I would not have done any of the jobs I did by choice, however, I needed money and I had to do something. Every job I did, I tried to do it to the best of my ability.

True justice rarely happens in this world, only God can give us justice and peace in a greater good life after death. We can’t change the world, we can only change our attitude towards the world.

My dad was an authoritarian and died an alcoholic. My mum had multiple sclerosis for 30 years, she gradually lost the use of both legs, then both hands. For about the last fifteen years of her life, she could only move her head from side to side. We all felt powerless to do anything, other than be there and spend time with her.

We can blame God and our parents for bringing us into this world, but that won’t change anything. I find peace and hope by doing voluntary jobs; and helping other people. When you help others in the way they want to be helped, you also help yourself.

Brother, I suggest you see a Psychiatrist if you don’t already have one. These statements are a sign of clinical depression, this can be brought on by a chemical imbalance in your body through no fault of your own. There is no shame in seeking help, or taking medication, or talking to therapists.

How do you know the children want to exist? The children, All of them belong to God. They are on loan to us from God. We are to nurture and take care of them. Yes I know, many are not nurtured. Satan is working overtime to steal, kill, and destroy, his time is limited, God’s time is not limited.

What about the millions of children who’ve been murdered in the womb? They were never even given a choice to decide on life.

Words of Jesus

““
“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.”
