I was in the car with several people I love. A girlfriend-Ginny I had grown up with, my daughter-Melisa, my cousin-Deanna and we were driving down a big hill and we could see the ocean in front of us and a Tsunami was rolling in and this Big Wave was coming toward us in the car. I said we must fly now and we did we all flew out of the car and above the wave, but the destruction was horrifying and I kept thinking it is the end of the world and thankful at the same time that we were safe above the destruction.... Terrible dream and yet we were safe at the same time....

I was being chased by a tiger. In another dream I was being chased by a crocodile.

The scariest dream was where I am a whistle-blower who had reported some major fraud. The fraudster hired a bunch of hitmen to assassinate me. I run for protection to the police officer to whom I had reported this fraud. I find the office talking to the fraudster. Then I realise that the police officer to whom I had reported the entire issue was on the 'payroll' of the fraudster. I run from the police station to hide in my home. On the way I am intercepted by a car full of hitmen. One of them catches me and another severs my neck. For a few minutes I feel my soul leaving the body ...

Then I wake up. (I experienced this 2 months ago).

It's partly scary and partly exciting. That feeling I 'experienced' while dying was just amazing. To be honest, when I woke up I was like 'Oh no, why am I not really dead'? It was a feeling of 'liberation' where all my senses were highly stimulated.

I haven't had a nightmare for... wow, must be twenty years now. Apparently my subconscious doesn't want to do the whole horror bit. I have to agree, I never watch horror movies or read horror novels.

The scariest dream I have had in the last few years is where I'm at work, and I'm trying to get my job done, but I can't find the parts or the tools I need, and I'm going all over the factory asking people and looking everywhere, but nobody knows where what I need is, and I'm worried I won't have anything done by the end of the day.

That has never happened to me at work, but apparently I'm afraid it will. Go figure.

I haven't had this dream yet but with some of the riff raff going on here, I'm sure it's just around the corner...

I'm anticipating a dream in which I'm permanently trapped in the Bible Discussion Forum.

Oh SNAP. Maybe my dream is turning into a reality... Because some part of our beloved Singles Forum seem to be turning INTO The Bible Discussion Forum Junior.

SOMEBODY WAKE ME UP.

It's a Nightmare On CC Avenue.

It's gonna take you on a magic carpet ride. The meter starts as soon as you step on the thing. I am going to hold off on vacuuming my rug and contemplate this course of action further.

Probably one I had not very long ago I went into my bathroom and there was a terrifying evil spirit in there, I was so terrified I couldnt speak. I tried to speak but was just stuttering because I was gripped with overwhelming fear.

When my daughter was a newborn baby, I had a monitor in my room so I could hear when she cried. Once I dreamt that there was an evil spirit in her room whispering over her crib to her, and I was hearing it through the monitor. I remember running into her room in such a hysterical panic, screaming, calling on God to help us. Of course, she was soundly asleep. Even today I don't really know whether this was the hormone-induced, sleep deprived dream of a new mother, or some sick spiritual warfare.

When I was a small child I had a reoccurring nightmare in which my father was murdered in a gross but bizarre fashion right in front of my eyes.

Im able to laugh about how weird it was now, but at the time it was horrifying.

I don't know if I can pin down the scariest dream but any dream where I'm being chased is scary to me.

True story, I dreamed during Obama's first term (in his first 2 years of being in office) I dreamed he was starting to nuke America and that he was gonna start with my state. It was super weird. The news was showing a map of where he was going to nuke first and where he was going to nuke next.

When I was a kid, I used to have dreams about tornadoes. The worst one was about a tornado at my grandparents house, it was literally chasing me around the house. Keep in mind I was maybe 7 or 8 then lol!

My worst adult dream was very creepy, and was a true wake-up call. I had it many years ago, prob. in my mid to late twenties. I was in this house, and a well dressed, very official, no-nonsense kind of man said he has something he wanted to show me. So we went down, way down into what appeared to be a basement, like a laboratory you might see in an old movie. There was a terribly undescribable stench in this place, it was horrible. There was a man seated in a chair, I think he was naked. and there were tubes hooked up to him. I asked my "guide" what was going on, he said something about transferring his blood. I asked why, no response. I looked around and told my "guide" that I've seen enough, as I felt like I was in Hell. He said "I'm sorry, you can't leave." At this point I got very rebellious and determined, and said Oh yes I am! And somehow I willed myself up through the depths, and woke up scared out of my wits, and very thankful to be at home, in my bed still alive. I had a different outlook after this. Don't think I've ever been so scared.
