Again: Who's judging?

Well, ~50% are women, ~22% of them are in the US; let's say you live in New York, which has the largest pool (so best chances), that's ~38% of the 22%. About 73% claim to be Christian (I'd wager 40% truly are), and about 6% will be your age ± 5 years. ~50% are unmarried, and of this, 38% are not dating. Let's give an optimistic 25% chance of both of you being interested (50/50 for the man, 50/50 for the woman). So actually there are 200 thousand available women if you knock on every door in New York today.

Only saying from personal experience because if you jump into battle with the bible bazooka ablaze, throwing judgement on peoples actions, telling them how they're going to hell because of what they're doing will not not work. It's admirable, it's heroic, but you're not learning from others or reaching out to anyone, you're just shaking the hornets nest expecting not to get stung...

I do admire street preachers and I think there should be more of them... I know Jesus admires them too when they do their duty with love, compassion, and respect... I will always go up to a street preacher, shake their hands for the duties they do for the lord, and get a little prayer circle going for and pray for their protection because I know sometimes people with arrogant actions will throw down physically with them. But sometimes I run into some street preacher's that just flat out do their job recklessly and end up stirring up more hate than love. It makes me face palm and sure Jesus is face palming too... I'm bring this up because I cannot figure you out Lynx, I don't know which side you're rolling with, the love and compassion or the hate and the judgement.

What I don't understand is what is the fear with Christian's on being tactical with their approach and venturing into places they're not supposed to go? Is it the fear that they think Jesus will turn away from them or is it the fear that their actions will make them turn away from Jesus? If you're one with the lord, anything is possible! If God is truly in your heart, you won't be shaken. No one should be afraid to jump in the fire from time to time, but be tactical when you do.

Here's how to be tactical:
Just like special forces, I say it's best to go undercover behind enemy lines and blend in with your surroundings... Make your so called enemies your friends and when the timing is right and they least expect it, show them what love is, show them what light is, care for them and bring them into church to be saved!!! Once that happens, you'll be friends forever... Trust me, I may be a colorful cat but that's what I do and it works every time! The only challenge afterward is keeping them accountable to the cross and making sure they don't fall back on their past actions. But that's where the CC comes in to help. God bless y'all for what you do with being the light within the light keeping God's children accountable.

Maybe i'm different, I thrive within the dark, I love snatching people from the dark and bringing them to the light... It really does put me to the test spiritually because the temptation may sometimes be out of control... But in retrospect I learn a lot from the darker side, I learn a lot from the people within the darker side, and that's why some of my post's are so out there and open minded... I respect the light within the light with Christian's but I feel it's too easy to preach to people who have either been born or have been reborn in the light of Jesus Christ. When the christian has a conflict, the process goes; Give them a bible verse that reflects their dilemma, a friendly reminder of how much God loves them, let them know how everything is going to be alright, hear them out just a little more, comfort them with a hug depending on how deep the issue is, and then they'll be on their way refreshed with new light! It's beautiful and helpful but it's the same thing over and over again, I simply crave warfare LOL!

You ask who's judging? I have to call you out because you always seem to be grumpy with my point of views... You may not agree with some if not most of the things I say and that's completely fine, I respect that, and I really do appreciate your input whether it's negative or positive. Whether I respond to it or not I learn a thing or two with what you have to say as well... With this topic in particular, just opening up new light on how to be tactical with your approach instead of going into battle with bible bazooka ablaze. Like I said, with this topic i'm having trouble figuring you out Lynx on your ways of attack. But, striking a positive first impression when winning hearts over to Christ is crucial! If you took anything in from what I just said, learn to have an open mind and be tactical with your approach. Don't be afraid to jump in the fire either, when you're under a mission with Christ, you'll come out alive. Hell, you may be shell shock but you'll come out alive! haha!

Actually I agree with that post Moose. (Though I would love to find one of them bible bazookas...) I don't agree with you applying it to me and "calling me out" because I did not do any of the things you seem to be charging me of, but I know some who are as you describe. In fact we have a whole mess of those guys over in the Bible Discussions forum.

The parts I didn't like in your posts were when you got a bit graphic with your descriptions. And as near as I can remember that happened twice. Two posts of yours I commented on, and suddenly I'm grumpy? Stick around, there's people on this forum that can out-grump me without even trying.

Maybe the term "calling you out" was the wrong choice of words for the the intentions of how I wanted to use it. I meant no disrespect in how I wanted to use it but I will respectfully take that back. I'll also tone down some of the graphics within my post's. Instead of the 48 piece crayon set, I will tone down my colorful words to the 24 piece crayon set. You'll still have a mix of flavor but you won't get the orange orange red. haha

Like I said before Lynx, I do appreciate your input. I'm still a tadpole training to learn as much as I can...

Actually, there is a thread "If You Were a Crayola Crayon What Color Would You Be" where these matters can be discussed in detail. Personally, I prefer the 64 piece crayon set, mainly because of the built-in sharpener that is kind of neat. You may want to avoid the 'Hot Pink' color so as to not offend the sensitivity of others with a less discerning color palette.

Blond here....In this corner we have Moose Almighty and in that corner we have our favorite cat Lynx here on CC.....I love the banter back and forth between you two it has become entertaining and has greatly lengthened this Rules of Engagement thread...but I don't think it was meant to be a warring engagement....although the OP doesn't mind which kind of engagement you have chosen....carry on....Honey popcorn please and a refill on the soda....their still going at it....lol

Beats me. Something about engaging the enemy or getting engaged or knowing someone who is a really engaging person or something. But if they're bringing out diet soda to drink I'm outta here.

I'm pretty sure someone, somewhere has made a romance-comedy named "Rules of Engagement." I've never seen it (despite Grandma watching rom-coms all the time) but it's too obvious a rom-com title to never have been used before.

Maybe a rom-com in a military setting?
