There's a lot of old pictures of me floating around on CC somewhere buried. The pictures I have on my profile are also old. This one is my avatar, just bigger and in color, but it is recent. Shock and awe!

That's cool. Morgan Freeman is the voice inside my head. Well, one of them anyhow. It gets a little confusing when two of the voices try speaking at the same time. Imagine Morgan Freeman and Ozzy Osbourne having a conversation...uff-da.
It was after I left the military that I started hearing people tell me I had "hard eyes" and that looking at them made them uncomfortable. I think that's when I threw away all the childhood lessons about looking people in the eyes and just stopped making eye contact altogether.
My Husband has heard that before too. I don't think he does. He has certain ways about him because of the military. He is sort of regimented in the way he does things.

Now I feel like I'm going all Austenian or something, because literally the second thing I noticed (after your eyes, eyes always come first), was how good your teeth are. I know...these days that's a really strange compliment...
Yes, of course. I agree...good teeth begets good disciplines which begets good times ahead....the rest of the personality is up to God to create our forged character for His name sake....Smile .
I have a choice each day to pick up my Cross and follow Him, or just look at myself and reason why I can't. Thank God I live in Christ - for "where I am weak He is strong, and He shows His strength thru me, even manifesting Himself in my flesh." I have never been stronger in life than now. And to the world, that's simply crazy!
I can choose faithfulness in Christ:
Or, ..... I can choose skepticism and doubt:
Or .... I can choose the truth and let my faith be my witness. I am not perfect, but I am perfectly placed in Him, and God does bless me with His manifestations in my flesh as well. God has made me exactly what He wants me to be, I am going to be the light and do it just as He designed!

Ha, thanks! They actually aren't terrific. I have some marks on my front teeth from not brushing as a child when I had braces (shame on 13 year old me!) but the lighting of most photos helps mask it. But I appreciate it!
