I think this has been a great study on how introvert men interact.

This shows that you really don't know what an introverted/shy man is like. They are deathly afraid of rejection because of various personal reasons. That is why they have trouble summoning up the courage to let a woman know that they are interested. And I am not saying that a woman should make the first move!

Also, who are you to tell him what he's feeling? And calling him 'bro' while telling him he doesn't know what he's talking about and calling his feelings USELESS is disrepectful. Would you like it if someone told you that you don't know what you're talking about and that you're feelings are useless while calling you 'babe'? Please show a little respect.

here's the deal.

we have ideas of how extraverts/introverts act, but we should remember we are still individuals. the way Melita, the introvert, acts may be different from another introvert woman. the same goes for men.

generalizations will always cause someone to say, "waiiiiit a minute...." because most of us, if not all of us, break generalizations. :)

Not all women want to he dominated and some that do, do it because they are emotionally hurt or struggle with issues that are not resolved. Love is not about domination but of mutual submission and respect.

What a woman do need and every relationship needs is communication. My ex husband just turned his deaf ear (literally) to me when I needed to tell him something that was very important to me. It made me very frustrated. Our marriage didn't end nicely.

An extrovert needs to speak to think. An introvert speaks before he is thinking. If they don't meet each other on those needs, they have a serious communication problem.[/QUOTE

Introverts think a lot more than they speak, the extrovert speaks without thinking cause they open their mouths more often. And yes your correct, but for a women that prefers dominance it wouldn't be a good idea to date an introverted man.

An extrovert needs to speak to think. <-- based on this part, I'm not an extrovert

wait a minute, what about thinking before speaking

Yup, I break a lot of generalizations. In fact I don't know of one generalization about single white males that I haven't broken. I don't TRY to break them, I just never have cared enough to follow them.

I also void warranties. A lot. Usually I void warranties by using Linux (on computers) or thin pieces of wire (on non-computers.)

I haven’t really been following this thread but I came across this.
It seemed to be a good practical answer!

Question: can one be an introvert then change into a extrovert?

Most people become more introvert by age. I doubt it will go the other way. You can practice to be more outgoing, but that doesn't change who you are of nature.

I'm introverted and humor is the quickest way to get me to open up.

Highly unlikely since that would be a huge change in personality qualities. I could see a person becoming slightly less introverted or slightly less extroverted but for someone to completely shift polarities would just about take an act of God.

An extrovert thrives and actually recharges in loud, boisterous environments that are full of human interaction whereas an introvert thrives and recharges in quiet environments with considerably less human interaction.
