Most of Gen Z is still very young, like elementary school... the people you're ranting about are primarily just the younger end of the Millennials.

But rather than have a huge fight over this, I'll just state that generational demographics are NOT hard and fast, but are rather just really really vague notions cobbled together by marketing people. These generational lines, though studied a bit by sociologists, are PRIMARILY just whipped up by marketing people who are actually trying to CREATE EXTRA DIFFERENCES in order to SELL US CRAP.

They are, to some degree, fairly arbitrary.

So... there are generational differences... but they're actually pretty vague and amorphous compared to what the marketers would have us think.

You are 18; you are GEN Z, the liberal generation getting my superior generation into so much trouble.

You haven’t lived life yet, kid; my father was murdered by ObamaCare last summer. Now at 29, my life has been sacrificed being there for my mother, while my sisters continue their life of unabashed sin.

And I am the “bad guy”. Because we live in an age where opportunity still isn’t available to men, to “provide” for a lazy, non-reciprocal spouse.

You have a lot of growing up to do, pal.
Murdered by The Affordabe care act? how was that???

One income is easily available?! HA! In WHAT world?! CLEARLY you are not a Millennial male, the modern SLAVE in American society!

Here in Minnesota, the a man needs $40 an hour to raise a “traditional” 2 child family and have his wife stay home.

That pay DOES NOT exist here! Namely due to Baby Boomer greed.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have a job opening that they cannot fill, for a videographer. The job description calls for $60,000 worth of work ... yet the year demand a college degree, and are only willing to pay $10 an hour.

Wake up, dude. That is the reality of the job market for young men.
I'm glad that I am going to retire in a couple years. I would not want to be a young man out of high school facing 50+ years of work with the challenge of keeping a job and not be down-sized or right-sized or whatever the pertinent lingo is when the plant padlocks the doors shipping all the jobs to China or Mexico.

I would caution any young person contemplating college to make sure that the desired degree is marketable and will remain viable for many years. Also, beware of accumulating student loan debt that you cannot wipe off the books with bankruptcy, especially for a degree that turns out to be worthless. Trade or vocational training is a good area to consider. Also, the military.

I agree with you, in today's economy it is almost impossible to make it on just one salary, especially if children are involved. I don't envy any young person.

I've no idea why anyone would care a whit about "scoring potential dates". I think one actual date would be infinitely more valuable for considering and developing a relationship.
I agree, and it has been my policy to not date any woman that I would not consider marrying.

Where does all these strange threads come from?????

Some like to wear make up, some don't. Some like the woman to wear make up, some don't.

If I was to wear make up to attract men that likes that, then what would it say about me?

Make up doesn't make you feminine.

A man with naïve expectations of women wrote the OP. Guy doesn't have a clue, no wonder he's not married. Kind of rude and obnoxious too but that's par for the course.

We don't deserve anything, John even told the soldier to be content with his wages. Not saying working for more is wrong, but we should appreciate what we have

If not wearing makeup makes you a feminist...
I guess that makes me a feminist.

I'm not sure the movement is ready for me.

You can say things, but if there's no reason to back it up, it's just stupid. Makeup is feminine because women typically wear it. Yes, some men wear makeup too, but not many men and the ones who do were in a different fashion, and a lessor amount, else they're transvestites.

Generally, only two groups object to women wearing makeup. Among Christians, it's legalists, usually non-Trinitarians who think any makeup is whorish. The other group are feminists, and ugly feminists generally rebel against things feminine.

I'm endlessly amused by people like you who don't care what's true or not, but just like to spew nonsense.

No we weren't we made too much money for welfare but thanks for completely disrespecting my mom. We also didn't get child support or food stamps or section 8 or whatever else there was. I'd ask that you please respect my mom fam i don't appreciate you assuming things like that....

I'm calling BS on that. She would have needed to earn upwards of $100,000/year to raise four kids without help from taxpayers. A single mother of four doing that? Ha!

What kind of quality of life do you need exactly? You can't tell me how we lived lol. It definitely wasn't a life of glamour but we survived. Most people in our part of town, the hood mainly, have very similar stories it's not super uncommon. My sister has two kids and a house, single mom, and she's doing ok too.

What's with some Christian women not wearing makeup? Makeup helps a woman look better, so please do. Makeup also is feminine, and I want a feminine woman, not a woman who looks like a boy.

I know some women are frugal with money, but not the ones I meet. Even women living on their own and financially struggling still love to wildly spend money, and want me to do the same. Don't ask me or your dad to help with your electric bill when you keep the oven running and your home chilly in the summer.

While this isn't nearly as much of a problem with Christian woman as with secular woman, feminists attitudes make everyone miserable. I dated a girl who claimed to be a Christian feminist. She was generally conservative and wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. What kind of feminist wants a man to support her? (And, what kind of man wants a woman who claims to be a feminist?)

Most modern Christians, male and female, are pathetic when it comes to sound doctrine, including the refusal of Christian submission. I think I have the soundest doctrine of all :giggle:. If you're a Christian woman who can't name five books of the Bible, in order, don't you think you should be a little less militant in objecting to my doctrines and causing needless conflict? It's not just doctrine, so many people seem to insist on believing nonsense things, even when it hurts their quality of life.

Men might be worse on this point than women, but men aren't my concern right now. So many women seem to have little interest in dressing nicely, controlling weight, or cultivating sophistication. Twenty years from now, I want a woman who is a woman, not a middle-aged girl.
I'm not single, but I saw this thread and thought I'd offer some insight. Some women don't wear makeup because they have allergies to most drug store brands. Many natural brands are super expensive. Also, it's a personal choice what a woman decides to put on her own face. Maybe she just doesn't like how it feels. Maybe she experiences breakouts from wearing makeup. For me personally, I can't wear eye liner at all, because it burns my sensitive eyes. There are women who just don't feel that putting on makeup is an effective use of their time, or that wearing makeup doesn't change their own perception of themselves. Some women are very confident in the skin they are in, au-natural, as God made us. There is no rule book for what makes a woman, a woman. Wearing makeup is certainly not a requirement for being feminine. My husband tells me I look beautiful with or without makeup. Some days I wear it, some days I don't. I guess he sees the more important things in me. :)
