Xmas

I know the anti-Christians use it, but I thought its origins were as a short form of Christmas, where X represents the Greek "chi", the first letter of "Christos". I may be wrong on that.

Hey you might want to rethink our response here. LOL You started this thread with "XMAS" and then you provided the context to the "XMAS" and now you want us all to See you were for Christmas all along? I'm sorry this thread was so uplifting and made me want to celebrate " XMAS" so much I think I will go out and get a Tattoo of " XMAS" on my arm. SMH

Have a bit of a look: It was not the Passover that Jesus wants to be remembered, now was it? Bringing this up is also to show how Christendom, thus satan had degraded the concepts of Christianity, and the fact of the billions of people that follow along like blind sheep.

As to the star, the star of Bethlem as some call it, are you of the mind that the star was sent by God, or by Satan to direct the magi on Herod's mission of finding the whereabouts of Jesus, and if you do believe that the star was from satan do you consider it perfectly all right to inculcate it into some pagan filled rite?

Still I don't see nothing wrong for you to see your family and relatives, dine with them with very tasty foods and drinks, and give gifts to them every December 24-25.

but let me be frank. even I am a Catholic, I still believe that the real month when Jesus was born on earth is either September or early October.

Neither the Star, nor the magi, were of satan. I think it a bit satanic to believe that.

I personally find it comforting that the 1st reported worshipers of Christ were Gentiles.

The idea that the magi were in league with satan or Herod does not come from the Holy Spirit.

this is my point also- all the pagan things in the modern world, ( not saying they are good ), but they just cherry pick Christmas and Easter, most of the time , to try to point to Law-keeping for salvation.

Been in church all my life never ever heard that the star was sent by satan. An utterly ridiculous belief. smh Ahhh!! So I looked up where this notion would come from and here we have the Watchtower!!

I am a big boxing fan but I shouldn't be. Not because of the actual combat inside the ring, no.

But for example, we all know how the new round is announced, right? I need not describe it... but a woman walks in and waves the number of the round in the ring, in very immodest apparel.
