Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the LORD Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”

Definition: lord, master

im not seeing Most High and only Most High as the definition of this word, looks like you are basing all this on an assumption.

Matthew 1:23 New King James Version (NKJV)
23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

Have you confessed with your mouth the LORD Jesus Christ, GOD WITH US?
Abrahams name means many nations, so Abraham was literally thousans of people at once?

Yes. Unbelief in Jesus being God disqualifies.
strange the bible does not plainly say that.

The muslims and others also believe he is this or that, but they don't believe He IS God in the Flesh.
maybe they should be burned alive for the difference of opinion.

Since becoming a born again Child of God, some 25 yrs. ago, I have come to understand 1 overriding principle. There isn't a Christian I know, including my wife and children, that believe exactly as I believe, on every doctrine or issue.

So with that in mind, I'd like to see if there is indeed ANYBODY out there that believes everything I do. Or at least someone who comes close. I'm not going to give their doctrinal names.

Here are the fundamentals that I believe every Christian MUST believe and agree on to be considered my brother or sister in the Lord:

1. We are ALL sinners in need of a Savior.

For sure

2. Jesus Christ IS that Savior. The ONLY Savior.

Absolutely

3. Jesus IS God in the flesh, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born to a virgin.

Agreed

4. Jesus was crucified and died to pay our sin debt.
100%

5. God raised Him to life from the dead. ( Believing all this comes by Grace through Faith )
I think God raised His son but I think His son and He are one so how that all works, but it does say specifically that God raised Him.

Issues that are probably necessary, but won't discount that person could be my Brethren if they believe differently, because not absolutely certain is vital:

6. The Trinity in the sense that God is 3 distinct persons. ( denying Jesus is God means not a Christian however )

I believe in God the Father, God the Holy Spirit, and God the Son. Seperate dieties, who are also one. So I think to know how that works is outside our spectrum of learning.

7. Absolutely no works to attain or maintain Salvation.

I think the works help strengthen our Faith, and keeps our hearts soft and teachable. I do think His Spirit is designed for transformation but how He does that exactly is again His decision and His call.

8. Impossibility of losing Salvation. ( If you spell LOSING, LOOSING, probably not saved! LOL )

I think we wouldn't have been given warnings if not to let us know it is impossible but that He gives us the assurance that as long as we sincerely to obey Him, we will be abiding in Him and Him in us. He will get us where we need to go, if we seek Him. He gives us that assurance. To me, it is an action of being rooted

9. Water Baptism NOT necessary for Salvation.
Good not nec

10. The Bible is infallible in it's original languages written.

Uh huh

Issues that I am convinced of, but don't believe it affects Salvation to those that think differently.

11. The Church DID NOT replace Israel. They have different promises and destinies, although BOTH are saved by the Blood of Christ.
Agreed, but i also agree the message is one and that His atonement brought us unity with one another in Him.
12. Allegorizing, using as a metaphor, and not taking the Bible literally does violence to Scripture, and leads to all manner of private interpretations. (Obviously there are many figures of speech in Scripture, but the text itself, or obvious context, dictate them)

Agreed but I'm not the authority, I need His help to explain the scriptures. I believe the burning in the heart shows how good the taste of Him is.

13. Just as Heaven will be consciously Eternal, Hell will also be conscious eternally.

Yes, again, i can see how ppl see both sides on this one. HE is helping me firm up my opinion on this one.

14. The sons of God in Genesis 6 ARE the fallen angels being held in Tartarus for having sex and procreating with human women, making a hybrid race on a DNA level, mentioned in 2 Peter and Jude.
This is another, hmmmm? I am praying for revealing.

15. Jesus will reign for a literal 1000 yrs on Earth after the Great Tribulation.
YES!!!

16. God chooses us, none of us would choose Him. He alone gives us the faith to believe, and we would ALL remain dead unless HE ALONE chooses to save us.

Yes, I give Him all the glory

17. There will be different rewards given to the saved based on their walk and works on Earth. NOT AFFECTING SALVATION.

Yup

18. I believe there are still gifts of the Holy Spirit, although talking in tongues is only if there is somebody to understand. Tongues are not necessary to prove indwelling Holy Spirit.
Uh huh

19. There will be a pre-tribulation rapture.
Still open on this one.

20 Christ's return is imminent.
100%

There are probably a dozen or more issues, but I'm asking if there is a single person who believes even 15 of the 20 I listed. I'd be shocked if there were someone who believed ALL 20.

So. IS THERE ANYBODY >>>> OUT THERE

Well, just an aside... tulips are only spring bulbs, and wither and die, olive trees do last for thousands of years. And a thousand years is as one day to the Lord.

I tried to grow tulips in my garden, they only lasted for one season. Just not the right climate...they need a shot of nasty, bitter cold winter to thrive. Or some time in the chiller part of the fridge. :)

where in the bible does it say one must believe this to be a follower of Christ?

It appears that you have read the Bible.
It appears that you believe in what you have read of the Bible.

So then, when Yeshua sent out His Disciples to preach on their own and they returned, He asked them who do they think He (Yeshua/Jesus) was? Peter said, the Son of God, the Messiah!! To which Yeshua answered back, flesh and blood have not revealed this "truth" to you but my Father did.

Now, we know in the major and minor prophets of the Old Testament they were waiting for the "Promise," which was the coming Messiah. They understood and knew the Messiah was God!!

So, if you read these portions of scripture concerning the Messiah, and knew that Peter called Yeshua that and Yeshua confirmed it, why is that not enough proof for you to believe that Yeshua (the Messiah) is God?

Read my post again. This may be the problem, you don't quite understand what you read.
The bible is only truly understandable by the light of the Holy Spirit.
Keep reading the bible, the light might go on.
I read what you said front ways, back ways and sideways too, and I still came away with the same understanding. I'll try reading it upside down and see if it's any clearer...nope.

Nope. Just not Christians. That's all.

I just showed where you aren't a Christian if you don't believe Jesus is God.

That is truly not having the Holy Spirit, because He would testify to you that Jesus IS Lord, and by Lord, God in the Flesh.

so when we see the phrase "son of the Most High" we are to believe the passage is referring to the Most High?

Genesis 6
6 When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose.

this passage means several Most High (s) came down from the heavens and had children?

sons of the resurrection become the Most High?

are you sure son of the Most High means Most High?

no you actually didnt.

if the scripture PLAINLY said what your claiming then we would not have been debating the subject for the last 1600 years. nor would we need a doctrine spelling it out, nor would the church have to murder people to force them into submitting to the doctrine.

and this is exactly the problem i 1st pointed out, if someone doesnt share your opinion they dont have the spirit. i think its a bit boastful to believe my opinion determines who has the spirit.

I don't think it's Christians that are debating. Debate implies the possible of an issue that has not been resolved.

For Christians. This issue is settled fact. It's non -Christians that are debating.

this is claimed by both sides so it really proves nothing. its little different than saying i am right because i know i am right.

lets go back to this:

That is truly not having the Holy Spirit, because He would testify to you that Jesus IS Lord, and by Lord, God in the Flesh.
why would the spirit need to reveal something that is plainly written in scripture or plainly taught by Jesus?

if you believe this, you should continue to believe it, i would never tell you different. IMO what you believe should not be a factor in how i believe. what kind of walk would that be when our spiritual decisions are base on the last person we talk to?
if i was teaching my children, i would never tell them they MUST!! believe something that is not written in scripture, if thats how one teaches the bible why even bother with the bible, just toss the bible and replace it with a book of manmade doctrines.
what did Jesus think of the pharisees when they placed their traditions on the same level as scripture?

I'm going to help all the people who don't believe in OSAS realize that they ACTUALLY do believe in OSAS.

Because I'm a helper and that's what I do.

You do believe in the concept of Salvation, right? We can agree on that.

And at some point, call it the future, your Salvation has caused you to be in Heaven, Right?

At this point your Salvation is sure, right? Once you make it into Heaven you have made it. That's it. You're saved and there's nothing left for you to do to earn your way. You can't lose because you have already won. You can't walk away from heaven because you would just always be in heaven. Like right now you couldn't walk away from earth. You just can't. Even if you tried to convince people that they COULD walk away from earth you would just be confused, right?

So we aren't really arguing on whether the concept of Salvation is real or whether someone can REALLY lose salvation but what we are arguing about is WHEN Salvation occurs. When Salvation is Sure that is when it is REAL Salvation.

When is Salvation Real?

Haha... your welcome.

We are in lock step brother! All 20

I am studying 13 now, and still of the same mind, but attempting to revisit the scripture, with an empty cup....as far as hell is concerned
