How come not many people have a photo of self on this single site You can’t see each other how can you tell if the person is you’re interested looks like words is not enough theses days

This single site is not for making couples. This single site is for hanging out. This is a forum, where people come to talk about stuff, not a site where people come to find partners.

Well apparently some people DO come to find partners, but they never find them. Good luck with that.

Well for me and I think a lot of the other people here, since we don't primarily come here looking for someone to date and most of us are unlikely to ever meet in real life, looks and appearances really don't matter much. And since this site is viewable by the entire internet, there's always the chance of disreputable characters coming along and we'd prefer not to have our identities exposed to such people or our images available to them. Besides you never know for sure if the picture a person has on their profile is really them or not (there are some good indicators, but it could always be their friend or something and not them).

Many of us are also introverted and value our privacy and anonymity on the internet. So even though I've been here for 5+ years now (I think), very few people on this site know my real name, the state I live in, or what I look like. But if I started talking to some guy here and we had really good conversations and I felt like I was getting to know him well, I'd probably reveal all of that information to him when it seemed either necessary or appropriate.

My avatar is my picture. It isn't anyone else's picture. I took it, and I own it. Someone might be inclined to use it without my permission, though I can't imagine why.

You mind as well ask, why do big company like mcDonald with a big m instead to the president's corporate face on it, and same logic for variety of big companies

Some people have met on CC but after quite a while of chat interaction. There is Christian Mingles and another free Christian dating site, but I don't know too much about it except that some commenters say they found their spouse on these sites. Again, I think it would take some time and wisdom.
After a while when you get to know people here you can always comment on their profile casually. God bless.
