If there isn't a local community or group that you can become a part of to help you lose weight, then you could try taking walks and eating healthier, and smaller portioned food. If you don't have a lot of money, then I would suggest picking up cans of food and using them for weight lifting. There may be local shelters that need assistance, and you could exercise by helping them out. Also, asking your primary care physician would be a great place to start.
