what did you all do this weekend? I saw my oldest son and his wife as they came to town. Don't get to see them often. My youngest son went along with me Saturday night but I had already visited earlier that day and by the time night rolled around I was pretty much talked out. Slept good and saw an ABBA tribute band at our local Riverfest festival.
Back to work tomorrow?
next?

Friday: Went to w*rk, came home.
Saturday: Went to w*rk, got something to eat, came home.
Sunday: Went to church, came home, went to church, came home.

That's the important part. Now for the unimportant part.

Friday: Bought "The Surge off gog.com at a great price. Promptly downloaded it. Found out even at lowest video settings it runs at something like four frames per second on my computer. I am not getting a new computer just to play a game I got on sale. Also went to Subway and got an italian sub, but I got them to soak the bread side (as opposed to the meat side) down with chipotle sauce and toast it twice. This makes ANY sub about three times better. The chipotle sauce sinks into the bread and toasts into the now crusty bread and mmmm it's good!

Saturday: After w*rk I didn't bother going home because the family was meeting at a local (very good!) mexican place a bit later for Uncle Fred's birthday. A good time was had by all. Our family is a bit boisterous but friendly, so none of the other customers complained about the long row of tables filled with loudmouthed people that descended on the poor restaurant that night.

Sunday: Bro. Iyan gave me two low-profile flash drives he bought. I installed Ubuntu on one, Linux Mint on the other and gave them back. I loaded my whole music collection on the Linux Mint drive and set three of my favorite wallpapers as the rotating background. I decided I want to make a soundtrack for "The Word" by Sara Groves, but I think I'll reduce the tempo slightly.

Yesterday I went for a walk in the morning then had to buy groceries. I was thinking that the store would be packed with a lot of people because it was tax free weekend, but it wasn't! Yay... So I got a new calculator tax free. :giggle:
Today I had church and then had lunch with my family. It was a relaxing day at home all afternoon.

I had a lifelong sister friend come visit me Friday. We went swimming, had salmon salad, and we watched a movie. Her and I laugh and laugh together. Today church and then I gave an orthopedic massage to a client with a frozen shoulder. Now I am just chilling. Thanks for asking.

Sounds like you had a blessed weekend with family.

Went to church where the importance of prayer was talked about. It was very timely. I appreciate how the Lord does that for His children.

Had some much needed family time. About 30 of us came. :) We cooked out, played volleyball and had lots of laughs. God is so good!! <3

I also met someone new, which was fun.

Actually, my son and my lovely daughter-in-law Melita, and I met with Joseph and his two sweet daughters. We had a beautiful fellowship together. Joseph is everything in Christ he professes to be. I am over the moon happy and blessed that God led our paths together.

My Honey went to work and I was a lazy bum except Sunday I did a little laundry. Not too exciting.

I didn’t wanna say anything... lol
And then sometimes we can't get rid of them no matter what we do. Even hiring a shill from the forum to plant her own son in the path doesn't get rid of some people... :p

I was in one of those drowsy states again this weekend. I binged a bit of Netflix, did dishes and laundry, and walked my dog. Pretty boring but relaxing.
