Finding the truth in the word

We need to find the answers we need in the word of God!!!! Not in what people think if we get a answer from someone please go back to the word see if it lines up with the word ... By this we will gain wisdom thru the word

Yes, 100%. I think we should come and reason together, that it helps as the word is not left to just one person's interpretation, but that ultimately we each individually and as a community should go back to the word, the official, authoritative and divine drawing board.

Provided those doing the 'reasoning' are regenerate. There are many so called 'authorities' who are devoid of the Spirit and have little regard for God's Word...although they give it lip service.

Most Churches are bringing in a mixture; the Word of God and humanism, i.e., mans point of view, i.e., the wisdom of the world.

The Holy Spirit through Paul tells us that the wisdom of this world is foolish. On purpose God will make sure anybody who forsake His prescribed order of victory over sin, the world, the flesh, and the Devil, will look foolish (Rom. 8:2; 1 Cor. 1:17,19).

Satan does not respond to natural weapons. No one can bargain with Satan. Every effort is in vain. The one who attempts to do business with him will be 'cast down.' Satan is very successful at making that which is ugly seem beautiful; that which is wicked seem righteous; that which is evil seem not evil; but behind "his face" is terrible destruction (Job 41).

What do you know of "most churches"? Only what Mr. Swaggart tells you? That's approximately... nothing. You need to get out more.

We often, here, do not "learn together". It is sometimes a forum of I am right and you are wrong. If we are told we are wrong, it is not a time to fight, it is a time to study.

So often our response to postings is to label the person posting. Then the response is not to what the posters is saying but to the label we give them. One label is especially difficult, it is the label of Sabbath Keepers. This wipes out many OT scriptures as truth, so OT and NT don't agree.
