Ok , I'm new here, So I don't know if this is already a thread here, but I haven't seen it yet , so lets give it a shot.

Everyone knows that its in the shower that you come up with your best ideas and most interesting thoughts. Most of the time they are pretty comical. For example...

During my showers I've went back and won every argument I've ever had with some witty comeback, I've had random philosophical thoughts like why aren't killer whales called panda fish ? , The first person to hear a parrot speak most likely thought he was going crazy , Who looked at a oyster and thought " mmmm.... I'm gonna eat that snot out of that rock ??? "

Whether funny or serious..... please tell me I'm not the only one thinking like this during my showers......
What goes through your mind ??

Oh I always think of everything I should have said..
On a serious note sometimes I pray for people or situations that pop into my mind.

I don't have all that. The only thing that happens is if I'm in a time where I'm wanting to write, I'll have all my ideas in the shower... and forget them when I get out.

What goes through my mind is getting clean and then getting out. This could be an interesting thread though. As for being new, we all were new once so just relax and be yourself. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

I usually think of weird stuff when I'm on my way to w*rk. I bike there, and it takes a good hour.

Here's a weird thought from Calvin and Hobbes.
https://www.gocomics.com/calvinandhobbes/1993/06/11

For those who won't click the link, here's a transcript:

CALVIN: The more you think about things, the weirder they seem. Take this milk. Why do we drink COW milk?? Who was the guy who first looked at a cow and said, "I think I'll drink whatever comes out of these things when I squeeze 'em!"? Isn't that weird?

HOBBES: I think conversation should be kept to a minimum until afternoon.

"Go to bed, you'll feel better in the morning" is the human version of "Did you turn it off and turn it back on again?"

After years of disliking the way i look, only now i realize I'm not ugly, I'm just not my type.

People who are goodlooking but have terrible personalities are basically real life click baits.

Oh that is the worst! I do that to myself if I start thinking about a storyline while I'm driving. By the time I arrive home, the brilliant bit of dry humour has been reduced to the caliber of a knock knock joke. I feel your pain.

If those people who spout platitudes all the time are right about "Teamwork makes the dream work..." Does that mean if I stop cooperating with my coworkers, this nightmare will end?

If you are playing golf and you fling your nine-iron into the woods in a fit of rage, are you playing frisbee golf? Or golf frisbee?

People who don't believe in autocorrect go straight to heel.

If a restaurant has a little notice at the bottom of the menu "Picture menus available upon request" how do the people who can't read know to ask for them?

Veggie Tales needs a new character. Judas is a Carrot.

If you want people to leave you alone, go to the mall (or Whole Foods parking lot) and hold a clipboard.

If you get sick in Arizona... well at least it's a dry heave.

If an amusement park ticket taker had a father and grandfather who were also ticket takers, he comes from a long line of long lines.

"You're a life saver!" "No, I'm a jolly rancher. I got promoted."

Why do they call them jolly ranchers? If I meet a rancher who is jolly, I know he's probably growing pot.

If I had a job making TV remote controls in a factory, I would be so worried that they would find me someday dead between the couch cushions.

If you rearrange the words of "listen"
It becomes "silent."

If you rearrange the words of "mailmen"
They become "very annoyed."

I wonder what happens if you rearrange their letters.... ;)

When I'm in the shower I'm thinking,

"I wonder why other people only think in the shower?
That's only a few minutes a day of thinking.
Dohhh... that really explains a lot of things in the world!!!"

In my older years I’d pray in the shower and talk to God about my day (or unfortunately cry about it), but as a kid I was big into making up stories and talking them out loud. Usually some sort of improv on the spot fan fiction about sonic or Dragonball or something. Most of them involved time travel.

Then my sister said she heard me acting out the parts and I was super embarrassed and never did it again 🤣🤣🤣

It varies...set/setting.

They have come to be boring to me somehow, maybe because it's summer and maybe because I have long hair so it's more of a hassle than it has ever been. No idea how females deal with hair drying all their lives. Exhausting. Winter showers though? One of the best things.

I mean, I still feel better after having had one and my thought patterns do usually change a bit.

I used to term a hot shower "Shower power" because well...it was like I was imbued lol. Easiest way to change my thought algorithms for the positive ;)

I don't sing out loud often but yeah, music does go through my mind when showering. If I'm alone in the house I will sing.

Just so different depending on the season. Always been a bit meditative/prayerful.

Random thoughts about random things are usually interspersed everywhere throughout the day, so if you only get them one place...that's a bonus I suppose :p

The last time I took a shower I was thinking about this thread and I got a glob of shampoo in my eye ..then rinsing it out I held my head back a little too far and sucked water up my nose and nearly drowned . Then I dropped the conditioner out of the shower...out of reach.... soooo this thread nearly killed me. Thanks alot.
