Problem is there's just no pleasing some people. Some people you can't make happy though you try your hardest.

When God said it isnt good for man to be alone, I will make a helper for him, he meant Adam who was the only man on the entire earth at the time!

Now there are heaps of people around. So how can people say they are alone. We all come from families right? Unless you are living out in the sticks, or choose to be alone, how can you really be alone?

Being single doesnt mean you are always by yourself esp cos God is always around. And He sends us the helper. Now Jesus didnt say he would all send us WIVES. (If Im mistaken and he did, then wheres mine? Lol) but we all have mothers, and brothers and sisters, and dads and aunties and uncles and friends and pets surely.

He puts the lonely in families. Now if yor parents are no longer here, then maybe God will send you someone else to be part of your family, but I dont think people should complain about the family or friends they ALREADY have. Get to know them better.
Why don’t you take that step of faith and pray that the Lord provides you a woman to love and cherish, that He would entrust her to you? Do you desire to take up this endeavor? You ask why He hasn’t provided, but have you asked and is your heart right?

Why go through the dating route (no offense daters) when you can go through the waiting route onto a promise? That promise being, God grants the desires of the righteous according to His word. Is your intent pure, and desire righteous? Lay before God your heart and see that He is good!

I already gave up a while ago Two years ago, i believe. And quite honestly none of those stories affect me in the slightest. I am not those people. And i don't pray anymore. It did me no good as a Christian i don't foresee it working for me now. God certainly has made zero effort to change my mind or prove me wrong in the past two years. It would seem He can't be bothered.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom....
And erm... what are you still doing on here if you are not a Christian...?

Decide which side you are on-He spews lukewarm out of His mouth if you read in Revelation....

…sometimes? Is that a real answer? On the whole, I am content, but it is often an uphill battle. There are times when I'd like to be married so much that it amounts to doubting the goodness of God, which is undeniably sin.

Singleness is a gift. You can use it, or you can set it aside in the mad quest to find the "better" gift of marriage, only to discover you are not happy with that gift, either. If you are not content with God's will as a single, you won't find contentment in marriage.

It's not necessarily true that sorry ...I know a guy who spent 5 miserable years single...but faithful to God...and when the Lord caused him to meet his wife (in an amazing way) then this guy was very happy😊....and if I'm not mistaken ( please all forgive me if I am) but tourist (member on here) also ismuch happier after meeting his spouse in here👌...singleness may be suffering that the Lord is allowing for a time and a reason for some.

Contentment in circumstances isn't exactly the contentment that the Bible talks about.

If you have made God your enemy it is because you have fallen into deception. I was there once and it is, indeed, sin. This is why as I was reading through Proverbs and Psalms the Holy Spirit taught me about the sovereignty of God (He controls even the falling of dice) and then from sovereignty He showed me in the Psalms how the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

That He grants the desire of the righteous, and if a man’s ways are pleasing to the Lord He gives him wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and joy (even peace with his enemies).

We must guard our hearts, for out of it are the issues of life. Trust the Lord. I find myself in this battle myself Tinuviel, that the enemy throws in those fiery darts of hopelessness, despair, and gets you to focus on your inadequacies instead of God’s faithfulness to finish the good work He has started. Keep the faith Tinuviel, seek the Lord and simply ask and open yourself to Him leaving no door locked. He sees it all anyways, but surrender.

I just think that if someone is going to undermine Christianity on a Christian forum for a long time, then it's better to 'snatch some back from the fire as it where' like the scripture says... because this guy has allowed his bitterness against God to draw him away from the path and he is in a dangerous place if you read his posts... So rather than try to tear down Christianity why not get real while there is time?

Or maybe we are in a season of singleness for God to give us lessons to prepare what He has in store for us...

In fact this guy was a Christian. Of course non Christians are invited to church. However, the Bible says that basically if someone lives un-Godly but claims to be a brother, and if he won't listen, then don't even sit down and eat with such a one.

Non-Christian content isn't allowed on CC (It's best to contact a mod if you see that going on), but there is a "non Christian" option on the profile information. It's allowed and acceptable.

Approach > content
I do love real however, why not share Gods love to someone instead of telling them to get out?

I tell you this, in the waiting and longing a gratitude is formed deep inside, so that when the promise comes you are forever grateful and cherish every moment. You praise God for His providence.

It's good what you say mostly.... but did Jacob sin when he wrestled with the Lord?
... It's good to reason together with the Lord and he very honest with Him, but also guard our hearts to remain humble and ask for Him to help us with things we genuinely struggle with... but yes, being angry at God, resentful... keeps you from moving on.... keeps you in a pit of despair... it is impossible to please Him unless we trust Him. Sometimes things can be very hard in life and it takes time and working things out... but I realised that prayer life gets hindered if we have sin in the way which needs dealing with...when I asked Him to show me what was hindering me He did... He is faithful....
