I love this thread @seoulsearch!

I am a very light sleeper, so I use a fan at bed time, even when it’s freezing.

I don’t do well when someone wakes me up.

When I don’t feel good, I’m kinda emotional.

I’m not a fan of shoes in the house.

I will keep thinking.
Check.
Check.
Check.
...and check!

great minds think alike! :D

I have a fan on at night too, seems to be more common than we think.
I also like my space so the other person needs to be ok with that and not get offended by it and I'm probably a bit weird :D(y)(y)

i got used to sleeping with the fan on and him telling me random facts about cars/recording equipment/instruments.
he got used to my random singing (making up my own silly songs) and what he calls my "made up" stories. i did see a jellyfish walking down the street! i didn't make it up!!!

I refuse to use bread ties. Period. So if anyone prefers bread ties we'll need separate bread.

I am moody, so one has to be prepared for that. Including depressive moments.

I do not receive help well, and can even take offense to it at times. There seems to be a very specific way for it to be done that doesn't bother me. And I'm not even sure what that is.

I'm often quite affectionate, but also an introvert. So it can feel drastic and personal when I go into introvert mode, despite it not being personal at all.

My musical tastes. A big one. Most people hate 95% of my music. But it's not going to change so they have to accept what I listen to. They don't have to like it, just be ok that I do. Ideally they'll appreciate my varied and uncommon tastes.

Plenty more no doubt. I'm a handful, at best. Some things I try to minimize in relationships, others not so much. Music and bread ties are a non-compromise =P

Let's see:

I sleep with a sleep mask and earplugs, that should be a pretty clear go away now I'm trying to sleep sign.

Anyone around me for any length of time will be expected to play board games with me, if you refuse I have games I will play by myself and hog the table.

99 boxes of tea on the wall and 99 more in the cupboard (ok maybe not literally, but it sure will seem that way)

Some girls are addicted to romantic stories and ideas; my ideals come more from fantasy adventures and I'm always on a quest mentally (even if that quest is to make the perfect hot cocoa mix or buy the perfect christmas presents).

I don't quite understand it myself, but even if I believe you fully competent to do so, I'm still going to double check your planning / research/ facts. And I'm an ultra planner and only spontaneous during the time scheduled for spontaneity.

I'm so introverted I make turtles look extraverted.

Also I'm a saveaholic and will probably want to slash your discretionary spending (ie pocket money / fun money) budget by half.

There's probably more, but I'm not going to bother posting that until I determine if this is a list of what imaginary potential spouse will have to get used to, or what I will have to adjust to successfully join finances and household with another human being.

What's wrong with tea? As long as you share... Also, do you do ONLY lemon or ONLY milk or ONLY unsweet or ONLY sweetened with honey... or do you mix it up a bit?

Just please tell us you do not cast yourself in your mind as the Chosen One who is destined to save the hot cocoa kingdom. We have enough Chosen One complexes in video games and books as it is.

I think I more cast myself as the chief taster of the hot cocoa kingdom who drinks all the hot cocoa to protect the citizens from its potentially dangerous side effects (it's a kingdom populated by dogs and I'm the only human so I'm in charge and I get all the hot cocoa because chocolate is bad for dogs).

Oh yeah, one thing I forgot to mention...

I pick things apart. Not literally, but if we are watching a movie and there is something blatantly illogical I will mention it. I'm big on analyzing why I do what I do and believe what I believe, and if you do or believe something I don't understand I will probably ask questions until either I understand it or you tell me to shut up.
seoulsearch, don't even say it. Not. One. Word. :p

You never answered the important part. Do you drink your tea with milk, lemon, honey, sugar, artificial sweetener, just plain tea, or do you do different things at different times?

Doggone it, woman, this is TEA we're talking about! You can't just ignore the important questions!

Certain teas are good with milk or creamer, mostly your chais and your more robust black breakfast teas. I pretty much weaned myself off of sugar or sweetener in tea but I like all kinds of flavor varieties. I never worry about adding lemon, but might at a restaurant if it fits the type of tea I'm drinking.

My two main caffeinated teas are stash orange spice black and stash chocolate mint oolong, but I also like a good vanilla black and then in the evenings I go for something without caffiene like a celestial seasonings zinger or their delicious caramel apple dream tea, a mint tea, or artichoke tea ( something I developed a taste for while living in Vietnam). Of special note are the genuine thai tea tea bags my friend who is a missionary in thailand brought for me as a gift when she was back in town and we got together a couple months ago.

Is that enough information on tea for you?

I like to have two evenings out of the year to focus on my fantasy baseball and football drafts. No interruptions while studying and the draft 😊

Now the question that most affects the wallet: How low are you willing to go? Is flowery orange pekoe the least you will accept for tea quality, or are you willing to drink orange pekoe? (I know better than to ask if you will accept regular old pekoe. That's tetley/lipton/luzianne level.)
