After giving this some more thought, no, you would not have to be gay to marry a gay activist nor would one necessarily have to be gay to even be a gay activist. Lots of people who advocate for others are not in the same category as those they stand with and/or advocate for...

I would think that if you married a gay activist that you would have to be gay yourself otherwise why do it? You would have nothing in common and I'd think there would be cat fights at the table every night.

So No I would not marry one I'm too straight.

Don't get me wrong one of my best friends is a gay man he is like a big brother to me. I don't understand the life style nor go along with it and he is not an active gay at this moment but he would never say he was straight. He knows my thoughts on this matter and he also knows I invite him to get into the boat with me so to speak. But that is his choice and his decision to make with God my job is to love him as a brother and be a friend. I also would never advocate for his life style either.

After further consideration, Id say probably not. I mean it does say in the Bible an active gay lifestyle is a sin.
