I would have thought the rebukes you received in your other thread would have taught you not to try to dictate the responses you receive. You clearly are here with an agenda; at least you could be straightforward about it.

tantalon,
just want to say;
if you want to start controversy for responses, then put in the scriptur-parts in the Bible,
because many, if not most will not 'look up' what you seem to be asking for,
because, you seem to be playing the role of a 'teacher', and that RESPECT should be 'earned',
through (knowledge-patience-Love...

I think scripture should be posted any time it's talked about.

Well, no one has answered the QUESTION, but I see that one member has said that the scriptures must be written out as most will not look them up. Here is what Proverbs 15: 31-33 is saying. Verse 31- is making the statement that whoever is willing to hear the error of their ways, (sin) and fear God thereby, can be free from the errors of the worlds' wisdom. Verse 32- is saying that those who refuse correction' despises himself, but whoever hears correction, gets understanding (of right and wrong). Verse 33 is saying, to have the "fear of the Lord" is to know God through the instruction and knowledge about Him. If we apply this truth to the New Testament, it's application could be found in "hearers and doers of the word" and those that hear but do not do. Matthew 7: 24- 27.

For sure I think Spiritual growth. That and to learn to be ok with rebuke and chastening. We all hate it but we gotta see the reason behind it to grow.

That's called "commentary", not "Scripture".

The Bible is an instruction book given by God, to educate His people. The Word, righty divided, and explained, is the "Hidden wisdom" revealed. The sinner cannot make heads or tails out of any of it, because the word is written in such a way that his spirit, still dead in trespasses and sins, has no comprehension. 1 Cor. 2: 14. speaks of it.

So you’re not a sinner? You now live a perfectly sinless life? Interesting.

Stunted or spiritual growing?
Hi Tantation. Before receiving any honor which might lead to eternal life (reproof of life) we must humble ourselves to accept the reverence (fear) of the Lord and His "instruction of wisdom" to us otherwise known as the Holy Bible. Those who refuse are in effect refusing Him and His Word. Should they expect honor from Him?

Never heard of honor that leads to eternal life. The whole response sounds pharisaical to me.

1Co 2:7 (KJV) But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Paul says they spoke the wisdom of God in a mystery.... even HIDDEN mystery.
