Noticed what he said. God allowed it to go through a process of purification.
Absolutely God allowed His word to go through a process of purification and growth. Remember, the word perfect generally means complete. The original autographs were never put together into one whole volume. God allowed His word to be preserved and translated also, and especially when His word was translated into English, that is where we see the purification process really taking off through the several different English Bibles, Great, Coverdale, Bishop's, Geneva, and so forth. Those very English Bibles which I just mentioned were all blessed By God and God did use them. For they also were pure Bibles. When God allowed His word to go through this purification process in the English tongue, even the English language was being perfected also, at the same time. Absoutely perfection and completion came in 1611, in the blessed King James Holy Bible.

Even Jesus Himself went through a process of Growth. God the Father allowed Even His only begotten Son Jesus to go through a process of growth to where He was made perfect through the things which He had suffered (Hebrews 5:8-9)

The nature of changes in the KJV down through the years do not constitute any revision, but only editions.

Also, how come you included the Douay Rheims? You do know that is a Catholic bible, right?
i included it because it is an translation of the Bible from its God-inspired languages to a foreign tongue called English.

you are insane. you left it out because you hold the king james version in higher regard than the Truth.

even if it was omitted it only makes the king of England's attempt to do away with the Geneva Bible the 8th English translation, and besides all that, Psalm 12 is about God's literal promise to save the poor & needy, to deliver and preserve the faithful, being pure and trustworthy, tested by fire perfectly. see verses 1 & 5 ((you know, the parts you never quote or even read?)) it is not about a translation into a foreign tongue.

IMO you are insane.

The scroll was “written on the inside and the outside” (an idiom for having writing on both sides). Clearly it's a two-sided scroll not a book. How much writing do you think there could be on the outside of a book?
A lot of writing can be placed on the outside of a book, depending on how small the letters and words are.

Consider the following examples:

Also he claimed there's a KJV in heaven. I've never heard such tripe! Either he's trolling us or more deluded than I realised.
The word of God, the Finished Bible, King James Bible, is indeed in Heaven.

If God preserved a copy of His word down here for us, do you seriously think that He does not have His very own Copy in Heaven?

I'm fully aware of that. There are others, including yourself, that read and post on this thread. His mystical interpretation is of no value to people who think.
Jaybo, what is so "Mystical" about what I stated???

Funny how you and Dino claim that I come up with all of these "Mystical" interpretations when both you and him cannot even produce one Physical Bible that you can hold in your hand which you believe to be the perfect and infallible word of God.

People with the Alexandrian school of thought, such James White, can NEVER point to one physical Bible that they believe to be the 100% pure and perfect word of God. But rather, you, Dino, and James White and the like can only refer to some Phantom (Mystical) Bible that you cannot even hold it in your hand nor read it. How sad. And you think my position is "Mystical" do you??

Clearly he is more deluded than rational.
Oh no, Jaybo. I am very rational. That is why when I say I believe that the Holy Bible is God's perfect and infallible word, I can actually make that statement with full confidence. Because I can show you exactly which Bible I am referring to.

I don't have to talk out of both sides of my mouth, in other words. Like so many modern Christians today do, who have bought into the wicked satanic, Alexandrian school of thought. They say they believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God, but when you ask them to specify which one, all of a sudden it gets really quiet. Sound familiar, Jaybo??

These two quotes from the OP show clearly the depth of his delusion and error.

Nothing more need be said; he has said it himself.

Dino, you nor anyone else in this thread has proven my position to be in error. Not one of you have.

The Scripture itself testifies that when God translates, the translation is ALWAYS superior.

Your argument proves that 'inspired translation' is not unique to kj version.

Yes, there inspired and pure translations prior to the 1611 KJV. But the King James Bible is the final, complete and finished Bible which God has blessed, and God is still blessing it. The King James Bible, God's finished Bible, shall endure forever.

I left it out because the KJV Translators left it out in the Rules to be Observed in the Translation of the Bible:

"14. These translations to be used when they agree better with the Text than the Bishops Bible: Tindoll's, Matthews, Coverdale's, Whitchurch's, Geneva."

even if it was omitted it only makes the king of England's attempt to do away with the Geneva Bible the 8th English translation, and besides all that, Psalm 12 is about God's literal promise to save the poor & needy, to deliver and preserve the faithful, being pure and trustworthy, tested by fire perfectly. see verses 1 & 5 ((you know, the parts you never quote or even read?)) it is not about a translation into a foreign tongue.

Psalm 12 is about God’s promise to preserve His words and it also can be about Him preserve the poor and needy. Psalm 12 shows a huge and sharp contrast between the vain, lying and unfaithful words of men and the pure, faithful and wholesome words of God. Read Psalm 12 in its full context and don’t try to pull verse 6 out of the immediate context.

Hence, Psalm 12:7 has two meanings, it has a dual application. Why are the poor and needy preserved? Because God is faithful to keep and preserve His very words. By God keeping and preserving His pure words, He also keeps and preserves the poor and needy.

IMO you are insane.

Am I really, posthuman?? At least I have an actual physical and tangible Bible that I truly believe to be the inerrant word of God.

At least I don’t have to lie to people like those who adhere to the Alexandrian philosophy which says “No translation can be perfect.” Or The Bible is the verbally inspired word of God IN THE ORIGINAL WRITINGS” and other kind of double speak and mental gymnastics that one has to do when they adhere to the dangerous Alexandrian philosophy.

Lenna, The King James Holy Bible is superior to the Original Hebrew and Greek. The Originals never were compiled into a complete volume together. However though, a preserved Copy and Translation of those very original Hebrew and Greek words, found in the blessed King James Holy Bible, are compiled into one whole volume of 66 books.
This has to be the absolute worst and ill-informed post I’ve ever read on any Christian message board the last 14 years I’ve been on them. Sheesh!

It would be wise for one to come to this conviction using the version they have.

I have used the Authorized Version (KJV) since coming to true salvation in Christ. I started out using the NIV; while the NIV was enlightening in regards to God, the KJV had the power of conviction in me, not the NIV.

Just my experience.

There are many barbers, but some are better than others.

There are many Bible translations, but some are better than others.

I recommend the KJV.

No, He did not.

Psalm 12 does not say that His word was refined seven times. It says it is pure, as silver (that has been) refined seven times.

God's word was pure from the start.

That is an impossibility. No translation (which is what the KJV is) can possibly be equal to the original language documents. That shows a complete lack of understanding about the art/science of translation.

Absoutely [sic] perfection and completion came in 1611, in the blessed King James Holy Bible.? Why has it been revised over several iterations? The first two major revisions of the King James Bible came courtesy of Cambridge University, first in 1629 and then again in 1638. Cambridge scholars also made changes to the original text by incorporating a more literal interpretation of certain words. Two of the leading universities in England—Cambridge (again) and Oxford—began work on updated standard editions. Francis Sawyer Parris oversaw the Cambridge edition, and Benjamin Blayney oversaw the Oxford edition. The Cambridge edition was finished first, in 1760, but the Oxford version, which was finished nine years later, superseded it.

The original 1611 version used small “roman” type to identify such words. Because of printer’s errors and other factors, however, not all of those words were properly identified. The 1769 Oxford edition is much more heavily italicized than the original.

The second category of revisions involves very minor changes to the text itself. For example, in the 1611 version, Matthew 13:6 contains the phrase “had not root.” In the 1769 version, the phrase is changed to “had no root.”

The third category involves spelling (“sinnes” is changed to “sins”), capitalization (“holy Ghost” is changed to “Holy Ghost”), and punctuation. In the century and a half since the original version was written, the rules of writing had changed. Spelling, capitalization, and punctuation had become more standardized. Blayney attempted to introduce this standardization into the Bible text.

Again, the King James Version is nothing more than a single translation of the ancient documents into English. King James declared it to be the Authorized Version because it was authorized by -> him <-, not by God. He declared his version to be the Bible, the official Bible of the English-speaking world, and some people are still buying into his non-Biblical edict. At least the Pilgrims had enough sense to leave his dictate, bringing their 1599 Jerusalem Bibles with them. They fled because they wanted to obey God, not a secular king with a political agenda.

Bravo to them and to those of us who seek to obey God, not some secular King.

Hebrews 9:23
[ Therefore] [it was] necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

The shadows are not more perfect than the substance.

We are being conformed to the image if Christ - a translation. Are we then better than our Lord?

God's word was pure from the start.
Moreover some actual words of God are in Psalm 12, and that is what is being declared pure and true - His promises to redeem the faithful, the poor and needy.
