I'm going for the big dog himself....Jesus. And ONLY because I feel like he was misunderstood....he was mocked....he was rejected and even hated by many people.

That alone is similar to how I feel. I was never a hit with people. I've been mocked and rejected. So in that sense, I feel like I identify with Jesus....in that way and in that way alone.

Just so no one gets the wrong idea, I'm not comparing myself to Jesus. I'm not saying that I'm great like he was. I'm just saying I know what it feels like to be a kind of....unwanted stranger in the world. Where it seems like more people shun you than accept you. I know what that's like.

This quote from Jesus comes to mind: “If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first."

The woman at the well: lived a sinful lifestyle, delivered from much by God's grace, met Jesus, and now proclaim the gospel :)

I would say King David. I have also been through many family problems, had enemies and done similar things to him myself. He had a heart after Gods own heart, i think that says it all.

I would suggest Abel the first martyr prophet and apostle.
