The Bible is full of such incidents. It often has to do with chastisement of God's people. Although some people are severely affected by this disease. Some people have lost their lives while others have lost their livelihood. This is as bad as a war. And just like at war times it has brought out the worst in a lot of people. What God would want from us is to call on Him for help.

To answer your question. You could refer the Bible, the book of 2 Kings, chapters 18 and 19. Here Sennacherib sends one of his military officers to King Hezekiah provoking him to war and laying siege on Jerusalem. And we see that Hezekiah tears his clothes and calls on the Lord. And God hears Hezekiah and answers his prayers.

Just like how God's city was besieged then, today the whole world is besieged by the virus. It's a wake up call from God to His people. To call on Him for deliverance. God alone can save His people. So surrender to God. Whether you're a front line worker or someone who is taking refuge at home. Surrender to God and ask for His mercy and deliverance. Or if you are in a state of suffering without a home and without a job, I pray that God is with you to guide you and take care of you in this difficult time. We're able to share here because God allows it.

It's a time to prepare ourselves for the next life in case God calls us to heaven at this time. We're just living here because He has given us life through His mercy. He can take back that life from us anytime. It's always good to be prepared. By being prepared, I mean, to have a daily relationship with God. He'll take care of us from there.

I would offer that kind of universalism reveals the wrath of God from heaven. It began being revealed in Genesis.

Did God really say (causing a wonderment no faith) when it was corrupted .Men working out the sufferings of wage of sin living in a corrupted body .

Believers have the strength to rest being yoked with Christ, making the suffering the pangs of hell, lesser.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
For the
invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, ( But rather as corrupted man ) neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.Romans 1: 18-21

The invisible things of a invisible God was exchanged for the lust of the eye the lust of corrupted flesh like that of Jesus . Yet he know no sin .Not doing the will of his flesh which he declared clearly ."It profits for nothing"

God is not a man . We worship our Faithful and True Creator by faith (believing) as it works in us . . we can agree with him.

Dinah and the Shechemites (Genesis 34). Shechem - a dirty heathen - seduces (or rapes) poor Dinah, and then goes to her dad Jacob and asks to marry her. Dinah's bros say "You can only marry our sister if you get yourself and your tribesmen circumcised, so's you aren't dirty and don't disgrace us or get her a disease". Shechem's family says "Good idea!" and all get the males circ'ed so's Shechem can marry Dinah, and then Dinah's bros come along and smite Shechem and all the other men while they are still sore for being rapists.

The Illuminati seduces the people into being scared of a fake coronavirus and takes away all their freedoms, just in case it spreads. The people then go to their governments, and say "We want to be free, let us travel!" Then out pops Bill Gates and says to the people "You can only travel and be free if you take my vaccine, otherwise you are dirty and a disgrace and you will all get a bad disease like a cold or the flu!" So the people say to Bill "Good idea!" and most take the vaccine so they can be free, but Eugenic Bill has already put some toxins in the vaccines, so when the people take the vaccine, they either die or become sterile for being stupid.

I think this bible story most closely mirrors the corona scamdemic, because in the story, the unbelievers were a little (if not a lot) naive about being rapists, and in the corona scamdemic, many people are a lot naive about vaccines and eugenicists.

Judges 7:12-25
Now the Midianites and Amalekites, all the people of the East, were lying in the valley as numerous as locusts; and their camels [were] without number, as the sand by the seashore in multitude. And when Gideon had come, there was a man telling a dream to his companion. He said, "I have had a dream: [To my] surprise, a loaf of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian; it came to a tent and struck it so that it fell and overturned, and the tent collapsed." Then his companion answered and said, "This [is] nothing else but the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel! Into his hand God has delivered Midian and the whole camp." And so it was, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream and its interpretation, that he worshiped. He returned to the camp of Israel, and said, "Arise, for the LORD has delivered the camp of Midian into your hand." Then he divided the three hundred men [into] three companies, and he put a trumpet into every man's hand, with empty pitchers, and torches inside the pitchers. And he said to them, "Look at me and do likewise; watch, and when I come to the edge of the camp you shall do as I do: When I blow the trumpet, I and all who [are] with me, then you also blow the trumpets on every side of the whole camp, and say, '[The sword of] the LORD and of Gideon!'" So Gideon and the hundred men who [were] with him came to the outpost of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, just as they had posted the watch; and they blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers that [were] in their hands. Then the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers—they held the torches in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands for blowing—and they cried, "The sword of the LORD and of Gideon!" And every man stood in his place all around the camp; and the whole army ran and cried out and fled. When the three hundred blew the trumpets, the LORD set every man's sword against his companion throughout the whole camp; and the army fled to Beth Acacia, toward Zererah, as far as the border of Abel Meholah, by Tabbath. And the men of Israel gathered together from Naphtali, Asher, and all Manasseh, and pursued the Midianites. Then Gideon sent messengers throughout all the mountains of Ephraim, saying, "Come down against the Midianites, and seize from them the watering places as far as Beth Barah and the Jordan." Then all the men of Ephraim gathered together and seized the watering places as far as Beth Barah and the Jordan. And they captured two princes of the Midianites, Oreb and Zeeb. They killed Oreb at the rock of Oreb, and Zeeb they killed at the winepress of Zeeb. They pursued Midian and brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon on the other side of the Jordan.

Welcome to CC Andy........but, gee........I wish you would offer your opinion about this when you post the question for us to answer.............

Yeah, that would be just swell!
Sure, sorry. I should have led by example.

Below are the first stories that came to mind from the Bible that compare to the Coronavirus pandemic.

1. The Ten Plagues of Egypt

Exodus 7:14-20 (NIV): "First Plague (Water to Blood) "

14 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is unyielding; he refuses to let the people go. 15 Go to Pharaoh in the morning as he goes out to the river. Confront him on the bank of the Nile, and take in your hand the staff that was changed into a snake. 16 Then say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to say to you: Let my people go, so that they may worship me in the wilderness. But until now you have not listened. 17 This is what the Lord says: By this you will know that I am the Lord: With the staff that is in my hand I will strike the water of the Nile, and it will be changed into blood. 18 The fish in the Nile will die, and the river will stink; the Egyptians will not be able to drink its water.’”

19 The Lord said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Take your staff and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt—over the streams and canals, over the ponds and all the reservoirs—and they will turn to blood.’ Blood will be everywhere in Egypt, even in vessels[a] of wood and stone.”

20 Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord had commanded. He raised his staff in the presence of Pharaoh and his officials and struck the water of the Nile, and all the water was changed into blood. 21 The fish in the Nile died, and the river smelled so bad that the Egyptians could not drink its water. Blood was everywhere in Egypt.

Exodus 11:1-8 (NIV): "Last Plague (Death of Firstborn)"

1 Now the Lord had said to Moses, “I will bring one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt. After that, he will let you go from here, and when he does, he will drive you out completely. 2 Tell the people that men and women alike are to ask their neighbors for articles of silver and gold.” 3 (The Lord made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and Moses himself was highly regarded in Egypt by Pharaoh’s officials and by the people.)

4 So Moses said, “This is what the Lord says: ‘About midnight I will go throughout Egypt. 5 Every firstborn son in Egypt will die, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, to the firstborn son of the female slave, who is at her hand mill, and all the firstborn of the cattle as well. 6 There will be loud wailing throughout Egypt—worse than there has ever been or ever will be again. 7 But among the Israelites not a dog will bark at any person or animal.’ Then you will know that the Lord makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel. 8 All these officials of yours will come to me, bowing down before me and saying, ‘Go, you and all the people who follow you!’ After that I will leave.” Then Moses, hot with anger, left Pharaoh.

Parallels with Coronavirus:

The parallel here is that Moses warns Pharaoh of impending doom if he does not let the Israelites go and worship God in the wilderness, but Pharaoh's heart hardened and was unyielding despite witnessing miracles. This is like many evil unbelievers today who thought they were in God's position before the Coronavirus hit and demonstrated that God can easily take away their freedoms entirely, without any man laws or believer works. And, yet they still won't accept Jesus Christ nor submit to God's will, thinking they can still somehow get away with lack of faith.

Another parallel is that it seems like Coronavirus is only hurting people of little faith. This is like when Moses mentioned the Israelites would get spared of the Death of Firstborn plague.

2. Noah's Ark

Genesis 6:9-21 (NIV)

9 This is the account of Noah and his family.

Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God. 10 Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth.

11 Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence. 12 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. 13 So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. 14 So make yourself an ark of cypress[c] wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out. 15 This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high.[d] 16 Make a roof for it, leaving below the roof an opening one cubit[e] high all around.[f] Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks. 17 I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. 18 But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you. 19 You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you. 20 Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive. 21 You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them.”

Parallels with Coronavirus:

The parallel here is God intending a mass cleansing of earth due to corruption, evil, and wickedness everywhere. The righteous like Noah are spared.

Anyways, for those of you worried about the Coronavirus pandemic, here are some verses to soothe the heart:

Deuteronomy 7:15 (NIV):

The LORD will keep you free from every disease. He will not inflict on you the horrible diseases you knew in Egypt, but he will inflict them on all who hate you.

Exodus 15:26 (NIV):

26 He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”

Thanks for the answer............good stuff.

I'm not worried about the virus............God gave all of us common sense, and if we approach this virus that way, taking the precautions necessary to avoid being exposed or contracting it, we will be just fine.

If we do contract it, we will have to lean on God to see us through it and trust in our Medical Specialists to treat us as best they can. God can surely direct the hand of the Doctor who treats us can He not?

I believe so........... again, welcome to CC.

The so-called *Medical Specialists* who have been involved with the Wuhan virus cannot -- and must not -- be trusted. Almost everything about this pandemic is BOGUS since it involves a major conspiracy.

The CDC is now FRAUDULENTLY publishing inflated numbers to ensure that the American public remains under lock down, and that the economy, as well as Trump and America, are destroyed. You need to connect the dots.

As to parallels from Scripture, there are none. This strain of flu was created in a bio-weapons lab in China to be used against America and the West. We do not see any evildoers in Scripture stooping to that level.

blind post...
well miriam was placed in quarantine for 7 days outside the camp though she was given leprosy for dissing Moses and not believing that he was Gods anointed. (many dont believe coronavirus could touch them, just cos they are religious)
But Noahs ark quarantine was about 40 days. Everyone else drowned who didnt get on board. when people drown its by respiratory failure. (coronavirus victims have difficulty breathing)

As for virus it was usually described as a plague the most famous of which killed all the firstborn in Egypt. The Isralites survived cos they stayed indoors and the angel of death passed over them. (people are told to stay home)

revelation describes Babylon as a city which is destroyed in one day. John urges come out of her, lest you partake in her plagues.
(Coronavirus has been devastating crowded cities the most...and targets entry ports, especially those with international airports cos of trade)

He was directing these passages to Israel. In Revelation it mentions that the Pale Horse, one of the 4 horses of the Apocalypse, brings sickness and death effecting the entire world.

Agree with everything you said but this. Do you really think the Chinese are so incompetent as to create a bioweapon less harmful than the common cold? They're conniving and deadly, but not grossly incompetent. If you're looking for incompetence, simply look to the elected representatives in power who bought the tall tale of a deadly virus, without so much as inspecting an "over-stretched" hospital, or questioning why the media needed to use mannequins instead of real patients on the TV segments.

The point was to create panic regardless of the virulence of the virus. And they succeeded hugely. The whole world is now captive to this narrative, and the lock downs continue. And every economy has been seriously affected, while businesses have been destroyed in huge numbers.

It's important to note who created the panic and economic destruction, though. It wasn't just the Chinese. Yes, they were the tool used to provide the blueprint for the (previously) free world to follow in response to this unproven "virus". But the panic and destruction was created by our own media organisations and our own governments.

The traitors on our own soil are far more dangerous than the wicked Chinese Communists, because many people trust the traitors in our own land, despite them having the same goal as the evil Communists.

Why is there panic? I can understand grae concern, but pani? I am sorry, but living here in Spain there has been a soppage of much commercde and business in general, but no panaic.

Today, the country is slowly going back to work, in general. No it is not as before, nor will it ever be but no one here is in a dither.

Trust in our Father. All will be just fine. Believe it or not, many families did have savings and back up for such a crisis, and business and indusstry properly run shouldhave enormous assets, at least enough to ride out a few months of lock donw. If not they are not industrialist nor businessmen, but simply in it for the ride. Do not bail them out, it is your tax money. They shouldhave been prepared for any eventuality, even this plague.
