Would gold and silver loose their value in a cashless system? What about land? I am trying to wrap my head around all this that we seem to be getting so very close to,

We seek to be stewards of the talents of gold given us by the Master.

In this age, come the international and total monetary system collapse, there will be no use for what are precious metals and jewels.

In my understanding, it would still have its rated value. You can still purchase with it. But they will not print or make more. So the circulation would stop.

But the only economical explanation I can find without conspiracies was that the coin shortage was due to COVID as lockdowns the businesses and people out of work wasn't returning the coins back in circulation.

People have been trying to popularize things like Bitcoin or online cryptocurrency.

I'm no expert on this, but if any systems isn't backed by actual tangible objects we consider as wealthy then I do not like it.

So if that is the end goal then it can be bad. But we already have congress who increases the debt like we dont need wealth to print more cash. More cash without a healthy economy creates inflation and as the value of the dollar drops, the dollar becomes less and less.

hopefully because goldmining and extracting silver is so environmentally degrading,
if you find a nugget in a river good for you, but when you start blasting entire forests just to get it out of the ground, you just being greedy.

The dollar is standing on its own as far as i can tell, it used to be backed by gold but one of our presidents sold it all off, for some reason leaving the paper money on its own. And as far as i can tell the crypto currency is the same, i really cannot wrap my head around how this even works at all. If anyone reading this understands it I would appreciate knowing. It all sounds like a house of cards to me.

look up FIAT currency.

this has been around since govt federal reserves started controlling the amount of money available.
This is linked to IMF (international monetary fund) and the World Bank. Both these are headquarted in Washington DC.

It often blamed for making rich nations richer and poor nations poorer, because it lends to poorer nations who have no way of paying it back, charging insane interest. Even if the poorer countries had gold they wont accept it. It has to be converted into american dollars.

seems like some of the ulterior motive in lending to poorer countries is to make them dependent on them (US) which is a little different from colonisation but still insiduous. Often it lends moneys that is misused for questionable projects that might start with good intentions but prove useless.

If US was really charitable it wouldnt do this and wipe all debts. But no, it wants to make a profit from it instead. somewhat less direct than invading, taking over and confiscating land.

Does everyone understand that come the short reign of the AntiChrist no on will be able to buy or sell without his mark?

I ask this because we are expected to continue in Yeshua with no concern for such things, actually unto our death.

No.. They would still have value.. Gold silver and land are commodities.. that can be bartered for other commodities.. Buying and selling are linked solely to currency.. When the mark of the beast comes into being the currency will be cashless and electronic and totally controlled by the system.. People will need the mark to buy and sell.. Without it they will have to either barter or beg or live of the land..

Come the rise of the Antichrist, and when his mark is established, no believer will be concerned with anything other than pleasing our Maker. They willl not worry about not buying and selling, for they will literally lose their heads. Uh-oh, did I speak against the doctrine of a pre/trib rapture? I guess I have.

Every time I "ran into" one of my neighbors last year, he was telling me that a world economy collapse was coming soon, and strongly encouraged me to invest in silver...

We are actively looking for 10+ acres of land within a 2hr drive, that a camper could go. Seeing the handwriting on the wall, we bought a little precious metals about 10 yrs ago. EVERYTHING surrounding survival of thefascism to come are only temporary measures. The Bible doesn't say land, or gold is going to be a safe haven for the antichrists reign of terror against Christians.

Maybe certain areas of Jordan, if you interpret Scripture a certain way will be.

But (physical) life itself is temporary, so whatever get's us through to the next day, AND HELPS OUR BRETHREN, is worth doing. Ultimately, as we all know, it is the Lord who provides.

things, goods or services, have economic value because they are desired and someone is willing to give something up in order to have them.

neither the existence nor the form of currency removes value, tho things like abundance or scarcity & paucity or wealth affect just how much has to be traded for the thing that is valued

people value gold and land; they desire it and would give things for it -- that remains true no matter what kind of money a society uses

We should not jump the gun. Cashless society is not the same as needing the mark of the kBeast to buy and sell. This will entail having accepted the Beast. As for now, a check book, bank card, credit card or online monetary manipulation is nowhere near what is to come.

Ah, gotcha. My reason for commenting was the fact that suddenly there is a coin/change 'shortage', and many folk do not even carry cash anymore. Just seems like society is gravitating toward going cashless, and with credit/debit cards already used for everything and anything, makes me believe it is around the corner soon. Even cell phones are being used! That is something never thought would see.

Here in Spain people are using their bank and credit cards at stores more than ever do to the covid19. I have had an idle bank card for over a decade, almost two having kept it currrent I am using it now because people are almost afraide to touch money, however I have heard that the virus is not spread in that manner, who knows?
When the world monetary system(s) fail completely, then watch for the Beast will eithr be in power or at the thresh hold.

we had an evangelist in nz ...if I can remember the name I will post it, who published several books about the end times in the 80s.

most of the books were about the beast 'system' or new world order.

I remember it saying that as well as cashless system the world would divided into ten zones. (like the kingdoms of clay and iron) or the heads of the beast.

the way countries are divided today are according to colonial empires and economic zones. Africa is like that, before the british empire and the dutch got there it was self governing under various tribes, and they didnt divide the land into square patches, but according to rivers and mountains and forests, depending on where food source was.
You see the NWO in microcosm today in cities where councils amalgamate and businesses merge to become bigger. unification and centralisation do make things easier (and the few at the top become extremely rich through doing so) but also can mean less autonomy for the people.
