How did God use women for his glorify in the Bible?

Over the years in the BDF, there have been multiple threads about women not having authority over men or women and submission.

The intent of this thread topic is not to debate female pastors. There are already plenty of threads for that on the BDF. The intent of this thread is not to debate the evils of feminism. There are plenty of threads like that on the BDF.

Instead of discussing what women don't, can't or shouldn't do. Let's discuss what women did in the Bible to glorify God and edify the people in their communities.

Not all women in the Bible had a title or held an office. How those women without titles or offices glorify God and edify people?

Let's discuss what the women in the Bible actually did to please God and edify people, for a change.

Wasn't there a female prophet in 1 Kings or 2 Kings?

God anointed Deborah as judge over the entire nation of Israel.

Esther was an incredibly brave and powerful woman in the Bible, risking her life to speak up to the king. She did so in a way that was honoring, yet truthful. Extreme grace we can all learn from.
Jael had great stealth. Yeah, she was hard core.
Mary Jesus mother, set such an amazing example of following God's leading even though walking in it involved much misunderstanding.
Mary of Bethany went pretty counter cultural to sit at Jesus feet to learn and fellowship. Another thing we can learn so much from.

The idea of God creating a bride represented by a woman. The mother of all humans or called daughters of men .

Chapter 3:15, in that parable the gospel is working toward the consummation of the bride of Christ, the building of the church his bride. . The new testament helps bringing the new order. Calling men like Paul that labor as in birth pains planting the gospel seed as the bride, the mother of us all . She represents the chaste virgin bride this is seen in a parable with Timothy, espoused by Paul to one husband Christ.

2 Corinthians 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.


In the new order the two will literally become one as the glory of God illuminates the new creature.

There were many god fearing women in history, and basically they did great things for the kingdom of God like the men did, and showed an example of a godly life that is a good testimony to the truth of God, and some might have had offices like Deborah although it was not common place, and maybe there was not a man that was righteous to do it at that time, so God chose a woman, but maybe it was alright for a woman to be a judge for that has nothing to do with being a king that is a man.

All people are instructed to preach the word of God, the Gospel of Christ both men and women to men and women.

In the Lord there is no difference between a man and a woman and they are equal, for the only thing that separates a man and a woman is the flesh, but the spirit and soul are the same, and they put off the flesh and have a glorified body.

And when they have the Spirit the kingdom of God is within them.

And God gives wisdom to both men and women liberally, equally, nothing wavering.

The Bible says that a woman is not to usurp authority over a man, but it does not mean she cannot consider herself equal to the man.

But the man should take the lead in the Church when the saints come together, and the woman to be silent for then they are interrupting the preacher that has the floor, which they probably had a problem in that Church of the women talking, and then got the men talking, which neither men nor women should talk when the preacher is speaking.

When the preacher is done speaking then he will hand the service to the saints where both men and women participate to add to the service for they are equal in the Lord.

A prophet is one sent as a apostle to declare the will of God .Rehab the scarlet woman was a prophetess. She is used as example with the prophet Abraham in James 2

Deborah, a prophetess and judge, advises Barak to mobilize the tribes of Naphtali and Zebulon on Mount Tabor to do battle against King Jabin of Canaan. Barak demurred, saying he would go, provided she would also. Deborah agreed but prophesied that the honour of defeating Jabin's army would then go to a woman. Jabin's army was led by Sisera (Judg. 4:2). The armies met on the plain of Esdraelon, where Sisera's iron-bound chariots became hampered by the mud caused by a downpour during the night that caused the Wadi Kishon to overflow its banks. The Canaanites were defeated and Sisera fled the scene.[1]

Sisera arrived on foot at the tent of Heber on the plain of Zaanaim. Heber and his household were at peace with Jabin, the king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor.[4] Jael, however, sympathized with the Israelites because of the twenty-year period of harsh oppression inflicted on them by Jabin, his commander Sisera, and his nine hundred iron chariots. Jael (whose tent would have been separate from Heber's) [5] welcomed Sisera into her tent and covered him with a blanket. As he was thirsty, she gave him a jug of milk. In the beginning God created Adam. And when he saw what he had done he took a mulligan and created Eve.
Romans 1:20 "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse."


God created the woman to bring forth into life the created born from and of their divine creator. Female and male God created they them.
And he looked upon all that he had made and declared it very good.

Woman is the glory of man.
Man is the glory of God.
That is the main difference between them when it comes to authority.

The glory of woman is her hair. - I wondered about it a lot, seemed like not much really.
Then I made the connection, Hair is a symbol of the authority she is under.
That it is glory to her to be lavishly under that Authority.
That Quiet and Gentle spirit that God loves.

As the great women of old used to adorn themselves.

All who are saved were born of woman. Every child born has been assembled within her womb by God.

All who glorify God are born of woman. Now I ask, how can there be anyone more important?
