Gal 4 is simply saying that a person who has achieved the state of being born again by belief is now KNOWN personally (a relational term) by God

it does not take away the fact that God knew of the, before time began.
Correct. God knew us before the foundation of the world, but we enter into relationship with Him when we believe.

Not hard to understand. I have an Omniscient God, not a God that is wringing His Hands and fretting waiting to find out who will believe.

The only consistent way to accept their paradigm is to adopt open theism.

It should be very easy to explain Galatians 4:9. Thanks.
Already did.

They entered into relationship with God when they believed.

For example, I knew my wife one way and then I knew her in a different way after I married her, didn’t I?

You are confusing two terms

Chosen and predestinated.

Not the same thing.
I believe they are not the same . Elect is most often ISRAEL but its always in the context of service and purpose. Predestination is like when we use our sat nav . We pre choose a destination ahead of time . When we become a son ( through the new birth . John 1.12 ) now we are predestined to the Adoption/ inheritance ect . Eph 1.5 / . Romans 8.23 , eph 1.13-14 ect . By being in an eternal being ( in him ) We recieve all the blessings in heavely places ,in Christ Jesus . Reading eph 2.11 onwards tells us what being outside of Christ means .
Ok from your position when and what are you chosen for and when and what are you predestined for ?

So God had no inkling of who would believe until they believe. That’s open theism, buddy.
Well it looks like your preaching 'determinism ' as if knowledge is causative . The point is ' as a son '

Good, we're on the same page in this regard. God does not have knowledge of one as a son before the foundation of the world. That would mean He didn't choose anyone to be in Christ (that would make him a son) before the foundation of the world.
Nope not even close to being on the same page

again Stop putting words in my moutj

So God elected us before the foundation of the world, but had no foreknowledge of us until we got saved?
Forknowledge and knowledge is different

Chosen in Him before time to be Holy and without blame before Him in love.

Predestinated to adoption as sons. Now what is in the text that indicates He didn’t predestinate us when He chose us in Christ to be holy and without blame before Him in love?

Does God add to His purpose piece by piece, or are they eternally purposed and revealed to us piece by piece?

Not sure what open theism is (not sure I even care)

I just know it’s not biblical

Amen

thats why he gives eternal life to those who truly believe, not fretting if their faith was real or not and have to take it back from them later,

The idea of a personal relationship seems lost To them

That's Scripture buddy! Man always has to come up with an ism.
Nope

thats not scripture at all. God is not a human with human weakness, god is all knowing. He knows the begining from the end. And everything is between, nothing surprises him, even a person who has faith in him
