Do agnostics go to hell?

The Bible does not specifically answer that question, but a baby is incapable understanding the gospel. It is my belief that God is righteous and merciful and will make an exception for babies or people who can't mentally understand.

Jesus said this in John 9:41:
41Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

Maybe this is a clue to answering your question.

Maybe he will get mercy at the Final Judgement. It's not like he can go from hell to heaven, or hell to earth at that point.

ONLY Jesus Christ CAN cross the great chasm between Heaven and Hell.

ONLY Jesus Christ CAN save.

ONLY Jesus Christ has the keys to Death and Hades (Hell).

Just consider the MAGNITUDE of God's Presence and His great Love.......

Mercy triumphs over judgment....God would rather forgive than to condemn....However, AFTER the Great White Throne of Judgment....it's OVER, no more mercy...Judgment is FINAL.

There is a chance for lost souls in Hell to encounter the Presence of Jesus Christ and be saved.

It is possible that the day of salvation could happen even in Hell....Jesus Christ has the keys of Death and Hades (Hell).

I see the problem you have created, yes, and part of it is you thinking I must look at things the way you do. You ignore that Jesus taught through parables. You ignore that this is pre-crucifixion. You ignore that nobody was in heaven yet. Do you really want to say that dead people can change their hearts and minds about God? I suppose you can if you want. According to you, apparently Jesus was mistaken to say a great chasm that has been fixed between two groups of people, so that even those who wish cannot cross from one side to another.

The whole bible is Jesus' words and the salvation process was explained back in Genesis 28:20-21. There is nothing about "acceptance."

Your claim souls in hell can be saved in the afterlife is false, and heretical in the opinion of many.

Scripture clearly teaches man will be judged according to things done in his human body, once this body dies, the fate of the soul is sealed.

Your claim is false, a person must be in a human body and have a physical mouth for confession to salvation.

Hmmm.....your statement has some Truth mixed with some OPINIONS.....

First, the scriptures do NOT teach us; the Holy Spirit teaches us the scriptures. We'll read that Holy Bible and think we know everything.... But, really we know NOTHING unless the Holy Spirit teaches us by giving us understanding of the scriptures.

Second, it is true that the scriptures plainly state that man will be judged according to ALL things done in his human body - good and bad.

2 Corinthians 5:10KJV
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

HOWEVER, the scriptures NEVER state that the fate of the soul is sealed upon death of the body. Instead, the FINAL Judgment is the Lake of Fire, NOT Hades (Hell).

The lost souls in Hell do have a mouth and do speak according to Jesus Christ's own words.



The gospel of God is the saving faith revealed by the Holy Spirit that it is absolute Truth that Jesus Christ is the One and Only Savior for all of mankind - Jew and Gentile. All mankind is lost and can only be saved by receiving the gift of salvation by receiving the Blood and Body of Jesus Christ. There is absolutely no other way to be saved.

Judgment begins at the house of God yet, the FINAL Judgment is NOT until the Lake of Fire, then all lost souls have sealed their fate.

I think there should be clarification when saying the Holy Spirit teaches us and we fail to say what Jesus said about the Holy Spirit
in John chapter 14 to 16.

He will teach you and lead you into all Truth. And bring into remembrance everything I( Jesus ) have said.

When Jesus is speaking HE is always the supreme authority in scripture. If there is a perceived contradiction between Jesus and Paul that it solely with the one own understanding Be cause Paul never did.

BUT IF that is the outlook then Jesus is to be obeyed over what Paul said every time.

Jesus said those who didn't believe in the Only Begotten of the FATHER are CONDEMNED ALREADY.

Jesus said In John chapter 3:18-21

Jesus said Matthew 10:28

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell..

Regarding the word 'fixed', the ALGNT Greek dictionary states..."literally, as setting up something so that it remains immovable fix (firmly), establish, support (LU 16.26);

The CWSB commenting on this verse and word...(I) In the perf. pass., estḗriktai (Luke 16:26, meaning is set fast, established permanently, stands fixed; Sept. Gen. 28:12).

Heck we don't need Greek Lexicons as the verse plainly states A GREAT CHASM has been FIXED and there is NO CROSSING from where the rich man is to where Abraham is.

Every lost soul on Earth or in Hell is condemned already BUT, if they call on the Name of Jesus Christ the ONLY Savior and believe in Him, then they shall be saved.

In Matthew 10:28 the Greek word for hell is Gehenna which refers to the Lake of Fire which is the FINAL Judgment. The BODY and the SOUL is thrown in the Lake of Fire.

The bodies buried on Earth that belong to the lost souls in Hades (Hell) are resurrected at the Second Resurrection and reunited with their lost soul in Hades (Hell) and have to appear before the Great White Throne of Judgment. Together Body and Soul are thrown into the Lake of Fire.

So a person's soul in hell of one who has physically died can still be saved if they call on Jesus?

I really don't understand why you are calling it a "doctrine"...... it's just something I see and understand as possible ONLY with Jesus Christ.

but I'm sorry to tell you there is no second chance of salvation after one dies without coming to Christ before. After the resurrection of Jesus, there is no example of anyone in the word of God saved after they died. Only in the context of past patriarchs we see this possible.


On the day of Pentacost, it was asked of Peter Acts 2:37

Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”

Peter said :

Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This was all said to those who were alive no one was dead or was the message for those who are dead already.

I would be sorry too if I thought there was no second chance of salvation after one dies BUT, I will now ask you a question.....

Can Jesus Christ go into Hades (Hell) and preach to the spirits that are in prison?
