Yes all sins can be forgiven we are under grace.. But lets say i murder someone and feel justified in doing so.. Am i repentant for murdering someone.. Nope because i felt justified in doing so.. Now when i face the LORD on the day of Judgement will i be forgiven? Will i be covered by the Atoning Blood of the LORD for that murder if i never believed in the standard of God that i should not murder and was never repentant for it?

PS: Well i should have said all sins can be forgiven except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.. Just adding this to be more correct..
I understand your point of view
but can you compare having a graven image as just as bad.
like this I read luke Luke 3:22-23 22and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased."

after i read this i felt it was ok and justified to put a picture of a dove on the wall and carve out an image in wood in rememberance of the holy spirit.
I also felt justified in praying after looking at the picture of a dove.

What made me feal justified is important obviosly like your point of view on the murderer. was it the enemy who filled the heart of a man with rage.
Is it the enemy that makes me feal justified in bowing my head befor the cross at church

The bible says every knee will bow befor Jesus one day. was that my justifcation for bowing befor the cross at church. if i carry on in that justification is it wrong of me yes it could be.
If i murder someone in an act of rage and carry on in my justification was that right to murder is that right. No obviously not. I guess somebody could carry on that way and feal they where justified to murder someone. The enemy can cause a person to have anger and keep a hold on them for a long time, could he still be forgiven thats upto God.

If a soilder kills someonein self defence is his justification right. ?

You see where im coming from. this is why its up to the lord to judge as only the lord truly knows the heart. and trust me the enemy can get a hold of the heart.

And pictures of Jesus hanging on the cross, which we usually see in homes and churches, as crucifixes and statues - any depiction of the Lord Jesus Christ, in any way, with whatever motive, INSULTS GOD. Furthermore, let me tell you: Our Lord Jesus is enthroned in heaven, having all power and authority! He is the Risen and Glorified Christ!
How dare any church have the temerity to still keep Him on the Cross???

Don't side-track the issue. I told you that Paul was an Apostle. And imho he was a greater apostle than every one else - yes, greater than the Eleven. So his name does not feature on the foundation stones of the New Jerusalem? Come on! Be serious, not flippant!
Can you not perceive when you have a true response? Imentioned the Book of Life because you labled Paul, St. or Saint.

It is likely many folks called saints by mankind may be in the Great Book and are saints, but this is for our Father to declasre,no you or I.

So Yes, I responded to your post for you deflected in deemiing someone a saint.

I am not comparing one sin to another.. I am using murder as an example.. I believe any sin that is not atoned for will see the transgressor cast into the eternal lake of fire.. So if i steal a pack of cookies from a grocery store and that sin is not atoned for i will be cast into the eternal lake of fire for stealing that pack of cookies.. Same goes for if i was a Nazi guard working in auswitz concentration camp and i brutalized and murdered tens of thousands of people.. Either sin will see me cast into the eternal lake of fire if they are not atoned for..

A person who has murdered tens of thousands of people can be just a easily forgiven and have their sin atoned for by the blood of the LORD as the one who stole a pack of cookies.. All they need do is believe Jesus and trust in that atonement and acknowledge their sin to God...

Anyone who sins a sin no matter how major or minor Needs to have that sin Atoned for.. Or else they will end up unforgiven and will be cast into the eternal lake of fire..

If a soilder kills someonein self defence is his justification right. ?
No.. I do not believe so.. According to Jesus it is right to love ones enemy.. And you do not love your enemy by killing them..

Jesus knew he was going to the cross from the begining. it hurts you see Jesus on the cross as it does me.
And picture like this can be upsetting, The importance of the picture has more value to remind people what he died for us on the cross.
Because he was the saviour of the world.
That message must always be imbedded in our minds.

God doesn't care for your artist's interpretation of His Beloved Son.
If you try to dodge the issue, and seek to support this blatant and offensive idolatry, I must warn you that God takes any insult to His Beloved Son VERY SERIOUSLY.

I find it shocking that instead of bowing before the God of Truth, the Almighty God, and obeying His commandments, we must 'kick against the pricks', find ways to circumvent what He sternly declares to be an Abomination, and choose to follow our own perverse imagination and intellect.

Runningman, read Isaiah 66:2.
That's what I thought. You have no scriptures to support your claims. If you want to actually make a point then you need to quote relevant scriptures. Fear mongering and accusations don't work here. Scriptures only.

This is called nit-picking! You are bothered because I used the term St Paul???

Before you respond to the subject 'Pictures of Jesus', study your Bible thoroughly and be convinced in your heart that IDOLATRY is a great sin! Casual, off-the-cuff remarks don't help!

What happens if you get hit by a bus and you havent attoned for a sin is no different to us as christians having a weekness in our nature that we dont change untill later on in life or never Change.
thats also another meaning to the thief on the cross.
The point im making is God judges the heart. You shouldnt worry about going to hell when youve accepted Jesus as your lord and saviour.

If you sin tomorrow after youve accepted Jesus as your lord and savior your allready forgiven because once saved allways saved is true. You do not lose the spirit.
You may lose some inheritance like rewards in heaven. But that would be all i think.

If one believes and accepts all the standards of God and if one trusts in the Atonment of Jesus then one will be forgiven all of ones transgressions against Gods standards... I don't have to ask for forgivness every time i fail to live up to the standards of God.. If i believe God and trust in the Way God has made for me to be saved then i am covered..

People are not saved because they succed in ceasing to sin.. Now that kind of thinking is a form of real legalisim.. No one ceases to sin.. We are saved because we are justly forgiven our sins..

If i sin tomorrow and think my sin is not sin then i am sinning wilfully.. Repenting means i accept and acknowledge my sin is sin and i am in need of the Atonement of Jesus to be saved.. I do not resist any standard of God because i know God is forgiving me every time i break his standards.. I am in a safe positon with God..

London this is houston calling. If youve just joined this forum you are now officially in the rabit trail of fault finding.
and we all know that rabbit holes go down into the ground :cautious:

these ops remind me of a fox hunt wherein prior to the hunt, a rider will drag a scented rag over the countryside and then of course the dogs will pick up the scent and chase after it as though it were an actual fox (I've seen those)

that's what's going on here...a false trail is laid and then the op waits to see who will run after it

his ops seem to be definately looking for a reaction and centred on topics where he will get one to then insult people, it looks like somebody wanting to be the centre of attention and behaving like a drama queen.
Ive lost count of the amount of insults he has chucked at people.

Sadly i think the enemy has got a hold of him right now, ive seen it befor the easiest thing to do is to pray for him. I have and it worked for me.

right. normally I would just ignore this type of thing, but I don't want Christians coming under false condemnation because some holier than thou dude from another country thinks he is a prophet of doom called by God to judge nations

I know what actual correction sounds like and feels like. people respond when it is the REAL Holy Spirit and turn to God

I have started to sence that to, that hes unwell.
Some of his rants clearly havent been of sound mind.
He could also be unwell in spirit if the enemy has a hold of him.

But his behaviour definately seems imature he said he didnt know how old or young he was in another thread.
I am genuinly concerned for him and mean him no harm.

Hands up - who thinks images of Jesus are actual historical photos of the real man?

Anyone?

What our pictures look like to God
That reminds of the little girl drawing her picture in class "what will your picture be?" asked her school miss
"God" came the confident reply
"But my dear nobody really knows what God looks like"
"well ... when I have finished my picture .... they will"

Mother Theresa of Calcutta when she was a young nun, kneeling before the crucifix was suddenly overwhelmed with shame and grief at the realisation that it was her sins that put Him on the cross.

She refused to get up

She said "Lord I will never get up from this place until I know in my heart You have forgiven me" anon she experienced peace in her soul.

I say she got saved ....
