Peter was wrong about other things, so if he did seek forgiveness, it was wrong. BUT, you are assuming he did. You cant build your theology on something like that.
Your sin is already forgiven is it not?
We know Peter wept after the 3rd time he denied Christ. You do not weep unless you realize you've done wrong. Why wouldn't we believe each time Peter sinned and realized it, he realized it was a sin against Christ? Peter set that precedent long before his vision and Rebuke at Antioch.

But if you want to sin and think it's cool, you have seemingly found your loophole. Go and be the best sinner under the guise as saved that you can be (y)

1 John 1: 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

We understand this Verse to mean, to say one has fellowship with Christ is to claim one is Saved.

So what is walking in Darkness after we are walking with Christ [Saved]?

Why does John call those who claim to be walking with Christ, but still walk in Darkness [willfully sinning] LIARS?

That puts [1 John 1: 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.] into better context.

Indeed you can dear brother and indeed you are. :)

James says specifically in Acts that these abstentions are "because Moses is read in every place" in other words James was just as careful as Paul was of offending the consciences of those weak in the faith. The abstentions in James' letter are by way of concession not arbitrary
Paul and James had conflicts. The HS did not guide every word they wrote or spoke. when james said moses is read in every synagogue, what he was saying is that if you want to learn the law, go to the synagogue

This is a very interesting statement. Are you able, within a matter of a few sentences, tell us what you mean?
Dealing with the betrayal...how did judas betray jesus?

Why is it legalists always think I want to sin. Did I say that? Show me where I said that.

And yet jesus fulfilled the law and preached the gospel of grace. Did jesus create a grey area?
In my opinion it's not the word of the law but the details that need to be addressed.
The appointed times and the preparation of them are of the Lord.
The 4 gospels are very Jewish. In order to understand what's taking place and how profound some things seem it is necessary to study what we refer to as the old testament.

Yea, I endorse willfully sinning. Sin much,, often, have fun. Go commit murder, rape adultery, fornication, steal, etc etc etc.
OH WAIT, I NEVER SAID ANY SUCH THINGU\
U legalists always seem to read into things that arent there. Because I say all future sins are already forgiven, and they are, does not endorse more sinning. SHOW ME WHERE I SAID THAT.

if u cant, then you are the liar and false accuser. Pull that plank out bro

No, Jesus did not leave a grey area.
And the truly important, nay, essential parts are crystal clear.

But the earliest church members werent fully aware how to act, or they were acting in ways they thought was ok, but Paul, like the corinthians, had to let them know some of those things were not good.

He never said you would lose your salvation. He never said dont talk to unbelievers, in fact Jesus commanded us to. But he did say not to associate with them regularly.

But he talked to themm in a way they understood, via their culture. It is not possible to write one book in which the details are accurate in all languages and cultures. So many of the details are hard, or impossible to figure out. So learning as much as we can about the jewish culture, like reading the OT, helps

an example is, native aborigines in australia dont understand the concept of owning land. they dont even have a word for it. So, when they read things like the aforementioned lot that Judas bought, they dont understand what that means

God appointed 11 jews ..12 if you add paul to teach christianity. To me that's a hint in its self.
We serve a never changing God.
Jesus said he had not come to destroy but fulfill. The new is the old revealed.
God created the Jewish race....Israel....and has given it for a example to the world.

THIS IS EASILY THE MOST COMMON WAY THE BIBLE IS PERVERTED, BY CHRISTIANS AND NON CHRISTIANS ALIKE
THERE IS A LIST OF COMMONLY MISUSED OR APPLIED BIBLICAL QUOTES ALSO.

PEOPLE OFTEN LOVE TO QUOTE "JUDGE NOT AND YE SHALL NOT BE JUDGED" AS JESUS TELLING US NOT TO JUDGE. NOT TRUE.

PEOPLE NEED TO REMEMBER THAT TIMES WERE DIFFERET, MUCH DIFFERENT IN JESUS' TIME. NOBODY HAD HEARD THE GOSPEL YET.
The apostles were originally only preaching to Jews.
The NT might be infallable, but that doesnt mean the words of the apostles were. Paul and Peter and the others had a major disagreement on whether new converts of followers of Jesus had to become Jewish first, do they now need to be strict in their obedience to the Mosaic Law
Scripture taken out of context is responable for all kinds of evil.
My opinion is simple. OT = thou shalt not NT = Thou shalt.
NT is about going forward and changing others lives, and when doing so, you automatically change yourself for the better. Dont focus on sin, sins, sinning, as more love comes into your heart, less sinning is inevitable
The word of God is sacrosanct. When we read or study the written word with the kind of mindset I see you display in this op, we end up getting it wrong and gaining little or nothing. Within what we might see as contradictions are the "inspired" spiritual understanding and lessons or knowledge God gives us through the Spirit of his Son in the Word when we study with the right mindset.

The scripture is very clear on the fact that we should not judge and the reasons are also clearly spelt out. Judging not does not mean that we should not point out or condemn unequivocally the errors or sins of the flesh and the resultant consequences and the need for man to turn away from them.

You believe the New Testament tells us to judge but we should not focus on sin', on what basis then is the NT telling us to judge? definitely not Love for love cannot be judged but expressed.

I will air my opinion later on the disagreements you mentioned.

Does anyone know why Dadz was banned?
No, I went to answer his post yesterday and it showed he was banned. I chose not to answer based upon that he cannot defend his position since he was unable to respond.

I see. Well it would be good to know what that person had said, or done, so that one of us doesn't make the same mistake.
