Yes. The pro abortion folks refuse to follow the science of when life begins.
And misrepresent the rest of the world. Election soon here, discuss it on TV now, we have week 12 or 14, talks about rolling it back to week 111 from conservatives. Talks about extending it to week 18 from the furthest left. American leftists seem to believe that europe iss totally crazy and have it on demand till 6 years after birth, which is untrue.

They just don't like the fact that life began with Adam and has not stopped since... :D

You see - "life" - according to modern science, no less - is present before, during, and after conception.

Since Adam - as long as there is "life", it continues...

Since Adam - there is no point in time when "life" can be said to have 'begun'.

Life continues unless/until it dies.

It is actually not a valid suggestion that "life" begins at conception.

The only valid question is:

When does "life" end?

Food for thought...

A human life begins at conception.

In the field of science there a consensus as to the definition of life has yet to be reached. There are currently over 100 definitions.

In the case of Roe v. Wade the 4th amendment pertained to right to privacy.
In other words, the jurisdiction of the state, and federal government, does not have the right to invade a woman's womb, or her right to medical privacy and choice.

Before Roe V. Wade, many don't know this, birth control was once illegal in the United States. Again, that was a right to privacy issue as well. The overarching point of such laws being primacy of the male sperm over the females personal autonomy. Which made females unequal under such laws.

I predict this Texas fight isn't over yet.

No, the fight isn't over with, PP will make sure of that. The woman has a right over her OWN body. The baby is not the mother's body, therefore she is making a decision over another human beings body. Every abortion takes an innocent life. Every Christian ought to be certain of where a candidate stands on abortion before they vote them into office. America's greatest sin is abortion, which stemmed out of racism. It's a silent holocaust.

Science can't tell you whether you're a man or a woman anymore. We have over 60 "genders". Science means nothing this day in age.

Once, some years ago, a politician, Todd Aiken, stated abortion should not be allowed in the case of rape or incest because women cannot get pregnant then because they don't ovulate under stress of that nature.

He later walked back his remarks.

In point of fact research proves high rates of pregnancy occuring due to rape.
Rape results in more pregnancies not less.

Not true, rape/incest/ medical make up 4% of abortions according to Guttmacher. Wherever your link got their stats, their utterly wrong.

You obviously never watched Family Guy, they explained that already.
Which flavor or the 60 + genders are you? I haven't decided yet. Unicorns are cool, I know it would be fun to stab certain people with my horn. But I do have fingernails, so maybe I'm more of a cat, even though I've only owned dogs. It can get kind of confusing. But I also think I should identify as a senior when I see those breakfasts they get at the restaurant. Humm, decisions, decisions. :p

In terms of the unique identity of an individual and the span of their lifetime - then, yes - absolutely - I agree 100 percent. However, I was speaking strictly in terms of the modern science approach to what the 'essence' of "life" is - when you have "life" and when you do not.

For example - modern science considers plants to be "alive" - the Bible does not.

(I put 'life' in double-quotes to illustrate the idea of what modern science considers 'life' to be.)

I haven't seen anyone talking about this here at ChristianChat. Texas has passed a law that abortions can't be performed after baby is 6 weeks old and "allows private citizens to sue anyone who "aids or abets" an abortion." (Can't sue the mother, but the doctor, for example, can be sued.)

https://www.yahoo.com/news/texas-clinic-worker-says-70-063145043.html

Dixon said she's upset with the new law: "I'm actually angry because this is an attack on people's constitutional rights to seek these services. And it's between them and their doctors," she told the outlet.

1. I'd like to see the "constitutional right" that makes it okay to kill another human being. They keep using this as an argument but it's a lie. And if it was a constitutional right, why are they so concerned that that "right" is upheld but not our right to keep and bear arms without infringement, which is a REAL constitutional right?

2. "It's between them and their doctors". HA! If that were true they wouldn't be constantly "asking" taxpayers to front the bill for their "reproductive health".

My husband and I had a friend, yeeeears ago, who's girlfriend aborted their baby. He was devastated. HE wanted the baby. If this had been a law in Oregon, he would have had the ability to sue the doctor for the loss of his child (10K really, in my opinion, doesn't cover the loss but at least it's a start).

I've also wondered if a mother who is "forced" into aborting her baby (by a pushy boyfriend or parent) could sue her parent or boyfriend? Seems that loophole would be there. Which could be a good or bad thing, depending on how honest the woman is about what is going on...

It's incredibly sad that women are crying over the fact that they can't kill their baby. I know it's overly simplistic but...you don't want to have kids? Don't do the thing that creates them!!
I'm wondering why it's immoral to kill a child before it's born, yet it's fine to kill that same child years later while it's in school or in prison.

When has it ever been okay to kill a school-aged child?

Are you talking about the death penalty?

But we’re Bible believing Christians, and the Bible settles the question for me. Psalm 139:13-16

Well said. Scientists have discredited their own field with this fiasco about genders.

A gender has to do with WORDS, in grammar. There are two SEXES, male and female.

There are three genders. Masculine, feminine, and neuter NOUNS.

They changed the meaning of the word “gender” in the 70s. The left is always changing the meaning of words.
