Always looking to argue instead of looking into and submitting to the Word of Truth for the much needed filling.
No, this is not true. You accuse me to say unbiblical things without telling what was unbiblical.

Dave in post 190 you said I told unbiblical things.
My question is still what in posts 152 and 165 ( which you mentioned as proof) is unbiblical?
Or is it your way to treat with persons which not agree with your view to accuse them without telling what they did wrong?

Please refer yourself back to Post #1 and complete the mission as stated - if you do, you will be Blessed.

P.S. - everyone is treated the same - His Goal and Commandment for us found in Ephesians chapter 4

Does the word of God teach you to accuse others, without reason? If you have no reason to accuse me of telling unbiblical things, why you do it?

You are bound to argument, not with me, but with Scripture = a clear sign of resisting the Holy Spirit.

But it's OK if you turn your heart to Him = read and pray into your life the Gospel of John.

"man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the Mouth of GOD."

Could this be true?
It is true that many big name honchos have gotten a few things wrong, but their errors carry no weight when it comes to obvious, observable, end experiencial facts.

It is important to note, however, that the greatest gift by far is Salvation. This is the only talking point that really matters. Just preach Jesus.

JESUS is truly the Greatest Gift but is definitely not the End all but the Beginning of something Greater.

Dwell on this - The Disciples walked with the Lord, witnessed His Love, Miracles and Resurrection.
The Resurrected Messiah walked with them again for 40 days before His Ascension.

Was that enough for them to go and preach the Gospel??? NO
Dwell on that and get back to me - PEACE

Ok... And may peace likewise be unto you, my dearly beloved friend and brother.

We get the indwelling when we are born again, so the answer for us is 'yes'.

The Disciples had the indwelling of the Spirit as they were already Born- Again.

The answer is from the Mouth of God: Acts chapter 1 & 2

In my first book, O Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach, until the day He was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles He had chosen. After His suffering, He presented Himself to them with many convincing proofs that He was alive. He appeared to them over a span of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.

And while they were gathered together, He commanded them: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift the Father promised, which you have heard Me discuss. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

So when they came together, they asked Him, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?”

Jesus replied, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by His own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Now, back to the purpose of this Thread - Challenge for TRUTH = See OP

Can you please provide where you sit and how you come to that decision = from Scripture.

PEACE to you my Brother, Friend and Fellow Worker in CHRIST

Brother, may I remember you that you accuse me to say unbiblical things? I want gently know what things you mean. Why you avoid to tell me this?

As you can see, that day of Pentecost did come, and with it came a new day and thing. Why some people think it suddenly stopped, I do not know. I do know that it is not worth getting hung up on or arguing over. If you want to put God and His Spirit in a box and tell them what they can and cannot do at any time they choose, then I will not stop you. One thing that is for certain is that I will not join you.

Everything you said in Post 165 is unbiblical with emphasis on "This has nothing to do with reject the scripture."
and "There is no scripture reference for this teaching.
And it is obvious that this gifts were given to special people for an special time."

Post 152 - The most of those who believe and expierenced the gift of speaking in tongues does it in combination with the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And this teaching came up on the beginning of the last century in the USA.
This I cant find taught to any Christian in the NT.

Now, i answered you.
Now please go to the OP and answer according to Scripture - not your opinions.

Seek the Truth
be like Ruth
where she sought food
in the land of Judah
Christ who came from this Tribe
Could not be bought with any Bribe
His heart was True
to His Father - that's Who
now be like Him who did not sin
Feast on His words
that impart Life within

What suddenly stopped? The day of Pentecost was unique. But John the Baptist had already said that Christ would baptized WITH the Holy Ghost. And each time someone believe on Him, he or she receives the gift of the Holy Spirit, which is the same thing. The Holy Spirit is "poured out" upon that person (Titus 3:4-7). So nothing has "suddenly stopped", but the day of Pentecost does not repeat itself. The Feast of Pentecost was fulfilled that day in AD 30.

You judge my questioning this teaching as unbiblical, wirhout showing me that this teaching was taught in the bible?
Show me were it is taught to other believers that speaking in tongues is a sign that someone got the Holy Spirit In the bible.
If you cant show me, of course I hold this teaching for unbiblical.
The pentecostal movement is proud to claime that their beginning was in 1900 with Agnes Ozman, Topeka and later in Azusa Street. It is interesting that the RCC charismatic movement is also proud and see their beginning in 1901 because the Pope Leo XIll declared the century to the Holy Spirit inspired through the italian nun Helena Guerra who asked him to renew the church through a turn to the Holy Spirit and his Gifts.

You told me I am unbiblical because I said special gifts were given special people for a special time.
Samson had his Power for a special time for a special purpose.
Can you show me one Single believer today, through whom such miracles are done as from Paul? (f.e. acts 19,11-12)
Out of the montanism, which startet around in the year 160, there is not to found that speaking in tongues was practised in the churches anymore. And people join this movement because they remebered the apostolic time ( f.e. what was useual in the corinthian church) and thought it was from God.
So show me where this teaching is biblical.
Then I am glad to join your view.
