As far as your preferences go, which do enjoy most and least?

Most: Russell Stover Chocolate Covered Nuts
Least: Candy Corn. I don't understand why people like this candy.

Most: Lake Champlain Chocolates. Their Five Star Chocolate Bar is really good.

Least: Anything at the checkout stand. None of it is real chocolate.

Most: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Least: I was going to say candy corn as well. And Norman Bates liked candy corn. So what does that tell us? :p

Oh snap!

After reading the other replies here, maybe I shouldn't admit that I actually like candy corn. I also like those creme mallow pumpkins... and fruitcake... and marshmallow Peeps.

Maybe this actually explains more about me than anyone needs to know. o_O:eek::oops:

If your typical candy bowl is presented I'll go for resee's, snickers, or starburst. Most other things I'll pass on.

Baby Ruth is generally my go to best. Worst (I don't even know if this is considered candy?) is licorice. However I can remember to now when I was about 9 or so, I was in Panama Fla. doing the cheap beach stuff at the boardwalk concessions at night. The air had that odd mixture of cotton candy and mildly fishy smell of the gulf shore and I bought a little bag of salt water taffy. That stuff was almost angelic and each chew took on a deeper bliss and ushered in another while it slowly melted in my mouth. I felt like a changed nine year old man.

I wouldnt recommend eating a whole bag of sugus in one go.
was hypo for weeks.

Dont know if you can get Sugus orginally a swiss chewy candy in different fruit flavours.
So yea learn from me not what to do.

The least, well when the lollies get passed round I avoid milk bottles and nobody really likes mackintoshes toffee esp the coconut flavour. They always get left behind. lol

But actually dont eat lollies anymore as I am a grown up. Well except for cough lollies.

Chocolate covered raisins (Rasinets), or chocolate covered nuts.

Afford? Five Star Chocolate Bars are very reasonably priced. Shipping can get a bit problematic in the summer, with all those ice packs...

Moser Roth, my second favorite, is five bars in a pack, and the whole pack is two bucks.

I actually factor price into the evaluation. A chocolate that is a hundred bucks a pound will never be my favorite, no matter how it tastes.

I'll go for a Snickers or a Mars bar any day. Was eating every day but then was doing nothing for my front bumper.
I miss the days when my grandmother would give me a care package of homemade chocolate covered cherries.

I am a chocoholic but won't have anything with mint or coconut in it. My worst I dislike the most is gum. I can't stand chewing on something and have to get rid of it instead of swallowing.

Best: Ferrero Rocher  Quite expensive, but soooooo good
Worst: Hands down, TWISLERS. Why are they not out of business yet? Absolutely vile!

I rember working in a souvenir factory and putting chocolate covered dried kiwifruit into bags and tying them with ribbons. They were actually not that bad.

The factory bought in another line of lollies/candy that was called sheep droppings.
That was actually chocolate covered peanuts.

haha.
Children seem to have this idea that working in a factory is like the willie wonka movie...I dont know about that, there was actually no chocolate waterfall where I worked but working in a library is just as much fun. bUt I do have a rule no eating in the library and that includes lollies because you know what I found if they ate lollies, they dropped their gooey wrappers everywhere. Not even in the bin where it belongs.

yuck. Although one time I found a banana in a drawer...thankfully it wasnt rotten....

I don't think I can honestly narrow it down to just one. I like lots of them as my favorite. Worst? Not sure I ever met anything sugar filled or sugar coated I couldn't eat. I was the kid the mom would say stop that to, because I would sit down with a tablespoon and the sugar container and try and make that a meal.

with my bookshop job they had candy/lollies on the counter (for impulse buys) but some of those sat there for months and months and eventually expired. I'd say it doesnt matter because sugar can last forever but I imagine chocolate eventually does get old thanks to the milk content going off.

Oh yeah... I was thinking best/worst CHOCOLATE, but you're right. Twizzlers are chewy red wax.

They still make and sell them, so SOMEBODY must be buying them. They don't stock stuff this long when it won't sell. But I don't know who's buying them... and I'm not sure I want to know. :p

If you like ferrero roche, try the Five Star Chocolate Bar (hazelnut version) from Lake Champlain Chocolates. It looks like a high price for a small bar, but the bar is bigger than it looks. The shape is like a h*rsh*y (that's a dirty word for chocolate lovers, that H word) nugget, but the size is like eight or ten of them put together.
