I totally get abandoning the sins of the left. Immorality, abandonment of personal responsibility, enablement of the lazy, abortion, a/poly-theism... No, Christians shouldn't have anything to do with those, they're against Biblical principals. And Jehovah God Himself.

But there's this lie, this deception, this mindset that if you abandon one side, you MUST embrace the other side. It's the American way. It's one or the other.

And to embrace the right, one must turn a blind eye to their equally egregious sins. Mammon worship. Self idolatry. Greed. Cheating workers. Abandonment of the sick and poor. Lies and deceit. Those aren’t Biblical principals either.

And if you don't discern the sins of the right, then maybe you my friend need to pray with a more open mind.

But what concerns me is that only one of these two sides couches their actions as being "of God". And as such they are the more deceptive, because they are fooling the faithful and deceiving them. And leading them from the Truth.

This country will fall to the antichrist. God proclaimed it. An no one on the left OR right is going to change that. They are all leading us down the merry path to tribulation.

And anyone who follows them - left or right - is being being deceived and led astray.

I agree with your basic premise, but please remember that this is an international forum, and that most Christians don’t live in the US and don’t face this false dichotomy.

You've hit the nail on the head.

Right? Left? What about the politics of the Kingdom? Right! The Kingdom has an Absolute Monarch. It is not good to mix worldly politics with Jesus Yeshua. Follow Caesar or follow the Lord; there is not question

Except this is a world-wide issue. I think most countries are facing the same thing (or will be soon), maybe to different degrees, but it's not limited to the USA

The problem is, too many are seeing it this way:

I think that I can objectively evaluate the problems of the United States from the identity of a foreigner.

In China, many people associate Christianity with the United States. When American behavior does not conform to the biblical words, people will compare the biblical words with American behavior. even they are not believers, but they have read little Bible.

Then some people will think that God is evil, or do not understand and resist Bible.

This is already a very serious problem.

Luke 11:52
Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge and do not go in yourself, and you block those who are about to go in. "

Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Psalms 118:9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

I agree...

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

There has always been a third option, but it has never been presented to the people. Anyhow the days of free and fair elections are over, so there is no point talking about two parties. America is now a de facto Communist/Fascist state, so elections are just going to be a joke. The Communist/Democrat party of the USA is making sure that it will always remain in power, and the RINOs are helping it along. The judicial system is now simply toeing the party line. Biden has already surrendered to China, so China could walk in and take over, and there would be nary a boo. Before that the politicians had already sold out to China, and shipped all the good jobs and industries to the Chinese. But the Chinese still think of them as useful idiots and foreign devils (gwailo), and will do everything to undermine America.

Putting aside your obvious bias, what do you see as a third option?

The Tea Party was more or less on the right track, but there was no need to take on that label. The Patriot Party would have been an excellent alternative. And Donald Trump had a golden opportunity to start a new party and leave the party of the RINOs behind. Instead he chose to throw in his lot with his bitter enemies, and they undermined him every day along with the evil Democrats. And he still has not woken up to the fact that the GOP is as useless as the Democrats. They were willing to throw him under the bus not once but several times, and now they have betrayed America and the Constitution.

Well whats written will come to pass. Oh I always say.. I don't like being told what to do or where I am to be seated. Not sure what you expect here. This is a fallen world.. this nation was given to God.. there is a convent with Him that He will be faithful to. For me one side stands for things that are not in the word of God and since 2016 we were shown was was hidden..its now in the open. One side fights every day to stop abortion and countless other things going on in the courts and then around the world. None are perfect never will be on this earth. But I will stand with them. It was awesome wonderful to hear the name JESUS CHRIST again. To hear to watch them PRAY! To ask seek to get the word BACK into schools! All that has now went south. We have 3 years left where we best stand in the gap for this nation! In this world sin still has a price.

I was surprised to see what you thought.
Politics has nothing to do with the Bible anyway.
Bible says love your enemies.
I always wonder what the president of the United States has sworn in to God?
Love enemies such as China, so they throw good job to China? No, I don't think so.
The leaders of the two countries met to promote peace, which is right for the Bible.
Why do you think the United States surrendered to China? I would say that I think your idea is rooted in hatred, it's not the Biblical.

Isn't the hatred between countries because light comes into the world, but the world doesn't accept light.

In Canada, we have four major federal political parties, and several smaller ones. We are not forced to choose "one side or the other". I don't know about the political structure in other countries, but political parties aren't the answer anyway; Jesus is.

Except God's way is the...right way.

Currently we see both being played out .

Another way to put it is secular (leftist) vs righteous. (Christian). ...or Liberals (leftist) vs conservative (righteous-Christian).

This is the basis of the vast majority of opposition discord in congress, govt. society.

One thing also for certain.....it is growing rapidly and will be the basis of major near future civil unrest.

How the right ever allowed the left to steal the word...progressive...as a descriptive mascot...is beyond me.
