When Muhammad was a young man he married his boss. He was a camel driver and she had a "trucking" company and he married her in order to get ahead in life.

Because she was fairly wealthy it left him with a lot of time on his hands, and being a somewhat introspective ascetic, he liked to go up and meditate on "spiritual" things up in the mountains.

When he was 40 years of age he started having these strange convulsions. He started foaming at the mouth and going into trances, and he was convinced that he was demon possessed, that he had a djin, the Arabic from which we get our English word genie—an evil spirit. But his wife said no, it was just the angel Gabriel who was wanting to communicate with him.

So he goes up into a cave in the mountains and the angel Gabriel allegedly appeared to this illiterate camel herder, outside of Mecca, and they had a little fight. Gabriel strangled him and choked him into submission, demanding that he "proclaim in the name of the Lord, the creator, who created man from a clot of blood."

So he was to proclaim this new revelation that came allegedly from God, and the fact that Gabriel allegedly choked him into submission is key for understanding Islam because the word Islam does not mean peace, it means submission.

The role of Islam and their mission is to cause everybody on the planet to come into submission to Allah, and it doesn't matter if it is done by free will or whether by force through violence. That becomes clear from reading the Koran. Just as Muhammad was forced into submission through violence, that is the way that Islam has often spread in history.

It is simply shocking to see Christians trying to make Allah the God of the Bible. They are either ignorant or perverse.

And even though the Radical Islamists have made this crystal clear (along with their goal of setting up a worldwide Caliphate), the arrogant and ignorant Western politicians have opened the floodgates to Muslim migrant invasion, and the erection of thousands of mosques. Western politicians are afraid of so-called "islamophobia", but when Christians are slaughtered by the Islamists, they simply ignore that.

I believe it to be mostly ignorance. Although I would not rule out Islam sympathisers who wish to portray Islam as a shoot off of Christianity. The Quran teaches them to deceive and lie in order to try and promote Sharia law. Blend in until they have political power.

It is in the Bible. I quoted it earlier. You act like the Bible says 'God'. Not everyone uses English translations.

Jesus did not say the Pharisees worshipped the Devil. He said that they said that His Father was their God, and that they were of their father the Devil.

Well, I'd say that calling them a child of the devil and wanting to do the devil's desires is equivalent; nevertheless, God was right there in front of them and instead of worshiping him, they said he was demon-possessed, and plotted to kill him. Kinda like what radical Islamists do to Chistians. They follow commandments taught by men, just like the Pharisees that hated Jesus, but that's not the basis for real worship- if they have a real relationship with, and love God, they will know to come out of Islam.

The context is what matters. It is not the word Allah, as such, but its obvious point of reference.

It is perhaps better to reference it as "Allah of the Quran" or "god of the Quran" to make it unambiguous. Likewise with "god of the Talmud"
