Well said! Completely agree. Every couple is different with different skills and interests, they figure it out.
If you were referencing my post, I hope you caught I specifically referenced the OP's "woman groups who complain men don't help with housework". I was asking if those specific 'complaining women' were aware what the husband/partner was doing when, apparently, not doing what they termed as "housework". So I wasn't talking about you or all women. And wasn't saying any divisions of labor are some sort of a rule. But also we know how the vast majority of households divide things in general.
I'm assuming both of us are not married or living with a partner, and so I'm sure you aren't 'complaining' either. = ) If you live in a house that you care for, or helped out with all these type of things, like me, then Im sure you know and appreciate them better than most. And I do all the housework. lol
When I marry I'll be very happy to hear her say, 'hey, i know a lot about cars, how about i come out and we'll check this out together?' Or even, 'i want to learn more about cars.' Whatever the case. It's more fun to do things together.
