This is about a transformation of mind. All health experts tell you that doughnut bad, broccoli good, but broccoli takes time to cook, while doughnut gives instant gratification, the temptation is hard to resist, if you just eat broccoli for the sake of keeping the rule, sooner or later you're gonna backslide to doughnuts for indulgence. The attitude must change from abhoring broccoli and craving for doughnuts to abhoring doughnuts and craving for broccoli, and that's the work of the Holy Spirit.
What do we have here from you Brother, a plate of Broccoli Law vs Devilish Donuts???

PUZZLE: i love broccoli, always have, and i love donuts with my coffee, but i am in a dilemma since no one makes a good donut anymore therefore for the past 20 years i switched(repented) over to Blueberry muffins and now i have JOE, Fruit and Bread.
i only use Spring water to make my coffee
"But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.”

100% Correct = Now find out the True meaning of Luke 10:26-27
It's kind of weird that in 10:26-27 it was Jesus asking a lawyer about what was written in the law, and the lawyer answered the two great commandments, while in Matthew 22:34-40 the lawyer asked the question and Jesus answered the two great commandments.

Weird or DIRECTION to the PATH that leads to LIFE?
Weird that the same event was also recorded in Mark 12:28-34, this time a scribe asking the question, and he seemed to understand that God delights in obedience rather than sacrifices and offering, which was Samuel's reproach to Saul in 1 Samuel 15:22-23. That's a totally different attitude compared to the lawyer in Luke 10 who then asked about the definition of "neighbor' to justify himself.

Well, the question is which is the greatest Commandment and our LORD says there are two that must be fulfilled.
So we have a lawyer and a scribe which, in itself points to something.
Therefore, Weird or DIRECTION to the PATH that leads to LIFE?

Hey there,

Ever wonder why Moses could destroy the first set of Laws on stone and God didn't utter a single word about it? To me, this indicates that there would come a day when the Law would no longer have its use.

Deuteronomy 9:16-17 CSB - 16 "I saw how you had sinned against the LORD your God; you had made a calf image for yourselves. You had quickly turned from the way the LORD had commanded for you. 17 "So I took hold of the two tablets and threw them from my hands, shattering them before your eyes."

The Laws of Moses were definitely to no longer be depended upon . . . hence, the tablets could be shattered.

Galatians 3:10 NLT - "But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say, "Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God's Book of the Law."

All who think the law is null are in grave error, the words of Jesus son of GOD are not open to interpretation,
Matthew 5 18-20 (KJV)

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

And as for the law is is not a burden to me, I love God and will follow his words over the words of men anytime. I meditate on the law often and marvel at it.

Blessings.

This question was asked for the purpose to figure out which faction of rabbis Jesus sided with. There were two major factions that had a debate over the ranking of laws, so they could prioritize. Both agreed that Shema prayer in Deut. 6:4-8 was the paramount law above all, then one faction believed “Love thy neighbor” was the second most important, the other believed that keeping ceremonial laws was the second most important. That was the cultural background.

Two things:

1) Have you studied the Laws of the Spirit of Life and that they are Effectual?

2) What do you do with passages like the one below?

Romans 6:15 NLT - "Well then, since God's grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not!"

I guess there's a third:

Are you not interpreting the Bible when you read it? It's odd to suggest that no one can "interpret" the Bible. This is what Hermeneutics is all about.

Well, devilish indeed. There’s an UNholy trinity in the field of nutrition - refined grain, hydrogenated oil and artificial sugar. Doughnut’s got all three and basically nothing else.

The answer is your understanding of FREEDOM. Although the concept of freedom is exalted as the highest value in America, the word itself literally means nothing, what’s important is freedom from WHAT and freedom to do WHAT. Freedom is but the crossroads in between. Bible taught us that the answer is freedom from sin and freedom to honor God, but unfortunately Satan has turned it around, now to most people, including many in the church, it’s freedom from God and freedom to sin.

@JAPOV . . . You've called me a "moron," told me to "piss off" among other things. Please stop responding to the things I say with negative emojis . . . I view it as nothing but harassment.

Brother 2Timothygroup knows this Truth as well - he is our Brother in Arm

For the day of vengeance is in My heart,
And the year of My redeemed has come.
I looked, but there was no one to help,
And I wondered
That there was no one to uphold;
Therefore My own Arm brought salvation for Me;

And thus my repentance(wisdom to know) and my wife makes the organic, sugar free, blueberry muffins.
By the Grace of our Savior i redeemed my time and overcame prostrate cancer by the Word, Prayer and turning in the Right direction of God's ordained nutrition.
No, i am not speaking of dietary Law but of the life in the foods God created for our health.

We also use organic whole bean coffee to avoid, as much as possible, chemicals.
Whole leaf organic Green Tea is proven to kill cancer cells.

the law is not abolished. Jesus made that clear. He did not come to abolish but to fulfill

The issue we can not fulfill the law ourselves. The ten commands are still valid. Breaking them is a sin. However. You can sin without even breaking the ten. The ten are just there to show you how you can Not keep Gods law and are guilty.

The problem we get is when we look the the law as a means of how to live morally. That was not its purpose.. If we were all judged by the law where we stand, we would be found guilty. Because non of us keep it. if we think we do. We need to ask ourselves why we think like the pharisee does. And not like paul

Jesus came to fulfill the law and so it is finished as far as people having to follow it ------you apparently don't understand scripture ---your trying to make it say what you want it to say -------the law is under the Curse ----there is no spiritual eternal life under the law ------

So good luck trying to keep what you can't keep ------no man can keep the law ------Jesus had to come to fulfill it so it would become obsolete and take the Curse the law brought in ------

All born again people are under the New Covenant of Grace which comes through Faith in Jesus who took the Curse of the law and brought back the Blessing -------
When something is fulfilled, it is then ready to use, not finished to be thrown out.

The law was given and it defined how God offered forgiveness of sin through the blood of Christ and Christ fulfilled that need, Christ did not destroy it.

People need to understand that God didn't want to give the laws in the first place ----the Israelite's ask for rules to keep and told God they would keep any rules that he gave them ---so God gave them the 10 commandments knowing full well they were not able to keep them ------God wanted the Israelite's to see that they needed a Saviour -----So the people ask for the laws and God complied to their asking -----the 10 Commandments were not God driven but human driven ------

The Laws God gave are perfect -------Humans trying to keep them are flawed and unable to keep them ------the law brought in the Curse ------if you want to be Cursed Keep the Laws
