I heard one of my friends is getting married end of this year to the guy shes living with, which is how it works in my country at least, so they dont 'date' as such but they do set a date for the wedding which is the only time when they will both get dressed up.

But I notice other ppl do it differently, go on lots of expensive dates first, quickly marry and then decide on a divorce date later when they run out of money and find out they cant stand each other.

well its not easy leaving someone youve lived with for many many years

but it would probably be easy to leave someone you dont actually know very well and only met a few times before marrying, despite divorce being expensive and a hassle, and the thing with divorce is the judges make it so that your ex is not allowed to see or speak to you and you are never under the same roof and breathing the same air

At least that is how it come across, I have known so many divorced wives only refer to their ex husbands as 'the father' or 'the dad' or 'the ex' like they dont even dignify this person with a name. And many of these were church going christian women, so, Im not really sure why they marry these guys who go cheat on them?!

and then theres commited marriages but only one side, while the other party is just as committed to leave it - in order to commit to someone else. I think some think well as long as I have one woman at a time and they are not in the same room or bed together simultaneously, its ok. ?! er..

well sure men and women have kinda figured out that having sex with each other isnt always conducive to living together peacefully! lol

I don't think there is anything wrong with unmarried guys and girls living together, as long as they aren't having sex.
