Jesus said you won't thirst, if we's thirsty we's in the wrang place, we's not what we's s'pose to be, we's not doing [being] what we's s'pose to be doing [being.]

We do have the water Jesus promised, the water of life. But it is not springing up into everlasting life. It's not flowing out of our bellies in rivers. We've got a lid on it, there is a cork on the bottle stopping it from overflowing.

We's not BAPTIZED in the Holy Ghost.

We have Him and He has us but we are not thoroughly dunked in Him, immersed.

You say but He'll make me speak with other tongues, I don't want that. Why on earth would you not want to speak with other tongues?

People will say you are bonkers, they will say you have gone off the rails, you have got all fanatical.

Cut to the chase dear brothers and sisters.

Desire Him greatly, long for Him, if you don't love Him enough, ask Him to cause you to love Him ... He understands all that, He KNOWS we don't love Him.

Holy Spirit my heart yearns for Thee
Holy Spirit abide in me
make me clean oh make me pure
I must know the double cure

Ne'er my trust would be in vain
nought to lose and all to gain
take my life my self my soul
burn the chaff and make me whole

Holy Spirit be my Guide
Holy Spirit my doors open wide
make me to know Thy will divine
Holy Spirit be Thou mine.
I was baptized in the Holy Spirit three months after I was born again, back in 1984. My longing and yearning for Messiah were fully satisfied as the Lord visited me in my own home as soon as I came from work. The divine visitation lasted about 20-30'. I felt a soft, warm liquid fire bathing me on the inside, but most of all, I felt loved like no one ever did. After that experience, the Lord became so real to me that now, after 38 years, I know Him better and love Him more.

No wonder they call Him wonderful! (Isa. 9:6) 😁

'Tis not of great import. Please do not henceforth worry thyself overmuch upon this matter. Surely the fog shall have receded once the daylight cometh.

God bless you, my dear brother. :giggle:
OK, Shakespeare, I won't worry about it. 😅

well I'm glad I got that out of you. God is doing it all over the world.

I got it all in a whack, like you in my own home ... you don't need to attend wild meetings. Jesus is indeed wonderful.

He speaks through His Word every day.

The Bible is indeed a vast and deep well.

We are to dig a little deeper every day.
a fountain, you might say - a spring of living water that does not run dry =]

OK, Shakespeare, I won't worry about it. 😅

Poor soul, God's goodness hath been great to thee:
Let never day nor night unhallow'd pass,
But still remember what the Lord hath done.

Me too. My wife and I are sick of the way the churches are being run today. They treat the church as a corporation, if you give your tithes (not biblical for the church), you can get into a ministry and work for free, so you pay them for them to get you a job. I know I'm being cynical about it, but it's the truth. But if you need to know, I'm not saying because someone "hurt me" or the pastor "ignored me." Nothing like that, I simply left because there is no room for the Lord in our churches, we simply go through the motions and wait for next Sunday to do the exact same thing, expecting nothing fresh or something new.

However, I love the community of believers (the church) because our Adonai does not make mistakes, yet He didn't tell us to belong to a religious organization and pretend all is well.

John 4:14-15 (LSB) "But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst--ever; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
15 The woman *said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, so I will not be thirsty nor come back here to draw.”

As a matter of discussion, can we be sincere and respond to either of the following two questions?

1) Are you still thirsty for something more that you thought you would find when you became a Christian for the first time?

2) How do you drink out of the well, and where is this "well"?

View attachment 242456
“He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”
‭‭John‬ ‭7:38-39‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it came from the promises of it

“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not?

hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:1-3, 6-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We find it here in the gospel

“Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live;”

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭a

it will last until the end of this world and beyond

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And we can find it all the way through to revelation the result of this happening the gospel witnessed to all nations the result in heaven

“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; and cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

…And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭7:9-10, 14-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s a reference to hearing the witness of the gospel and believing the is is going to offer us the Holy Spirit the living water promised in scriptures beforehand

I BELIEVE in church .... whatever her present condition she still is the spouse.

Things DO change, I've seen fellowships transformed.

Just think what the churches were like in he 14th century.

Whatever gifts we receive from the Holy Spirit they are for the church. SO...

So I am sure the Lord will make some provision for you to find fellowship in the things of God.

Jesus said whoever drinks of this water will never thirst. Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.

that water is the Holy Spirit.

The well is christ.

I am dumbfounded by the amount of people who think we need to keep drinking out of the well. When jesus said they would never be thirsty again after they drank it once..

You might do a study of Canticles or Song of Solomon ... it is so FULL of godly doctrine for the disfellowshipped believer .... "Oh where is my Beloved, where can I find Him?" she pined

"My Belovéd is gone down into His garden to the beds of spices to feed in the gardens and to gather lilies"

Are you referring specifically to people on CC who’ve posted in this thread or people beyond the realms and of CC?

Anyone, there are far to many people in many chatrooms and many churches who believe in the living water. But do not believe it will do what Christ said it would.
