Men will remain men and women will remain women in spiritual bodies. That is a given.
Maybe it is a give in for you... it was not for John.
1Jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

I didn't say there wouldn't be men & women ... I said.... "I am just not so sure that gender is going to be an issue to any degree with spiritual bodies".

Jesus teaches there will be no giving of wives come thed Kingdom for we shall all live forever.
Remember there is no distinction between male and female. according to the Word.
We shall all be transformed to be exactly as He.
If this tells you He will be some kind of sexually identifiable form, I am sorry.

I'm curious to see what people's thought's are about this? I would like a open-minded discussion about this, if possible. :)
And just when you KNOW it can't get any more totally idiotic - it does.

thats what I was thinking. An extremely bizarre question indeed.
I agree. All this vituperative arguing over physical details when none of us knows the answers only creates antagonism. Let us all join together on what we do know, and that is the glory of GOD and his love for us all

What was John saying? Was he not saying that (1) at the Resurrection/Rapture all the saints would resemble Christ in His glorified body , but (2) exactly how they would appear when perfected, transformed, and glorified was not totally clear to him? All the children of God will be radiating light as "the Children of Light" but John had not seen an actual vision of this future event. Gender was always a given and will remain so.

Do you think I am on a Christian website because I do not believe in the lord Jesus?
These are the last days. Satan is working overtime to try to deceive as many Christians away from the Lord as possible.

It's so easy to say "I believe in the Lord Jesus." It's another thing to be able to sustain living for Him and bearing godly fruit for Him. That's where the distinctions become apparent.

We will all be known by our fruit to show who we really belong to.

No. I don't know how anyone would even get this idea from our only source of truth—God's word. It comes from a culture soaked in the divine feminine lie. And before anyone even says anything, this isn't a dig at women; I love and respect women, just not the divine feminine false doctrine.

I also have to break it to you that the Antichrist will be a man too.

Daniel 11:37 He will show no regard for the gods of his ancestors or for the one desired by women, nor will he regard any god, but will exalt himself above them all.

What is it that is desired by women? It is power over men. You won't be getting any encouragement from him.

All that woman and LGBTQ+ empowerment being pushed by globalists is just temporary and used to corrupt the world, but was never really their true focus.

The focus is the destructed and corruption of humanity. As it was in the days of Noah.

Divine female theology actually does women a grave disservice. It teaches them things that are contrary to God's instructions in His word. Women are very valuable to the body of Christ and Satan knows this; that's why he tries so hard to pervert the truth where they are concerned. When women stray from the path of truth, the whole body suffers.

Exactly ... We don't know
All the children of God will be radiating light as "the Children of Light"
That... we do know

Gender was always a given and will remain so.
Again ...you are stuck on the dividing aspect of gender, which was not the facet I was debating... I simply stated "I don't know if gender will be an issue". Which was the inference the OP was suggesting.... In other words quite possibly it won't make a difference if it's male or female ... like it does in society today.

It IS important as it is being challenged right now. That's why the Bible is clear about the Lord's gender. God knew this would become and issue.

“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been
taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11
but we can not assume that Jesus is not able to be ANY gender he/she may wish.
Can we assume that this thread is about your wish? Please explain what motivates your wish. Jesus has always been the SON of God and ever shall be.

If you have come here as a seeker and have not read the Word of God, then I would like to share the Good News with you right now... All have sinned, but God has given His only begotten SON to die upon the cross so that all can turn from self and freely receive salvation through HIS cleansing blood. HE knocks on your hearts door and awaits your decision right now.

“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”

Thank you Oyster for doing this.

I admit that my first reaction to threads such as this is not to share the Gospel, but rather to post some "snarky" response.

All people, regardless of motives, need the Gospel and need Jesus.

I can learn a lot from you.
