If bloodlines are so unimportant in your view, why is Jesus' genealogy given so much ink?
I did not say they were unimportant. What I said is that righteousness in not inherited in a linear fashion. Jacob was a deceiver and tricked his brother and father, but he is in the lineage of Christ. Judah was not righteous but he did enter into the lineage of Christ. Solomon was unrighteous but he too entered into the lineage of Christ. Then you just have to look at the lines of the kings of Judah and Israel.

what I don't understand is Christians being so negative about sex. When asked if there is sex in heaven, they say "no". I ask why not. They say there is no procreation in heaven. I asked, so sex is just for procreation? Some say "yes" I ask, if you have 4 or 5 kids, do you stop having sex? Genesis 6 mentions the Sons of GOD having sex with humans. Some say. It's about the lines of Seth and Cain. I ask, "How can the two lines of believers and unbelievers produce giants? And what about the daughters of Cain? Were they too ugly to marry? No matter how holy you are, you will not produce giants. GOD placed a whole book about sex in the Song of Solomon. It may be a sin to have sex outside of marriage, as long as we are in these bodies and on earth. It does not mean we won't have sex in different bodies in heaven. GOD must have thought sex was great, if he had a whole book about it. in the Song of Solomon. If the book had not been in the bible, the church would have called it pagan porn.

As seoulsearch has said...then reminded us countless times she said it...and demanded that we give her attribution...I think I covered all my bases...sex is sanctioned in marriage and there is no marriage in heaven. So your version requires sin in heaven.
Did I mention that seoulsearch first shared this argument?

I certainly hope I didn't come across the way Cameron is describing because that wasn't my intention at all.

I'm not sure if someone else brought this point up with John before? Quite possibly so.

But all it did for was to make me realize how hopeless it was to try to have a discussion with John about this, and I was hoping to spare others the trouble.

John, are you like this in real life too?

Maybe this is the pot calling out the kettle because I'm not married either - but I'm not obsessing about it.

Have you ever considered that your one-way insistent reasoning might possibly have contributed to your having never been married?

I can't imagine even trying to date anyone who wouldn't try to at least consider what others are saying to him, but maybe that's just me.

I'm honestly not trying to be critical.

I'm just astonished that you have never made the possible connection.

Perhaps you have failed to take into account all the problems sex
causes. Broken relationships, ruined lives, trauma beyond belief.

One might consider the day of judgment also I would think in that there being two resurrections of the dead and that last enemy, death. The angels reserved in chains of darkness until the judgment also. So both the angels and man will undergo an final judgment in that day. Now if afterwards there exist procreation it would mean that there would exist another judgment which means the final judgment would not be the final judgement unless the children were capable of living forever without the necessity of an Savior(Christ our Lord). So if there were an procreation that is exempt of judgment then they have no part in our Savior.

yet GOD gave us a whole book about. When done right, it's amazing. Like heaven on earth.

I doubt the whole book was about sex. You are hung up on sex.

There is no marriage in heaven, does not mean there is no sex in heaven. GOD placed limits on sex on earth and in this body for good reasons. we will have a new body in heaven, that will not have the limits we have now. No diseases or sicknesses.

No worries Cameron!

You brought up a perfectly valid point, and after reading your post I realized that I might have actually sounded that way.

Thank you for the opportunity to allow me to clarify. 🙂

The prohibitions on sex were never to limit sex. They were always designed to heighten our experience of it.
Water that flows between mountains flows faster and is purer than water that runs freely.
The boundaries God has set for sexual experience makes it better, not worse.
